I am a licensed Therapist in the state of California , I will say I am fulfilled and happy I never went into Nursing or any other profession. I work for the last 15 years with in the Trench of homelessness, drugs , Severe MH and prison both adult and children. It the best decision I made . And I am a feminist the system is bias against men, I strongly dislike the system.I say equality for all not only when it convenient. A substantial amount of African men are victims of Domestic Violence; and they end up in prison or jail for DV because it was reported by women who are malicious and vindictive. Some women disgust me and I am a woman.

You don't have to legally adopt the kid.
You don't even have to marry the woman.
If you come together and send any decent amount of time as her man, they will claim that you have now taken place as the father and MUST take care of the child even if the biological father is alive and around. The biological father may even be a good man and try to make the court top and left him take care of his duties as a father and they will run him around in circles just to cause misery top both men. The US system has this inner evil partition that is also as idiotic as it is evil.
This is only one of the reasons why many of us dodge marriage or dating even sometimes.
Imagine dating a woman who has a few kids and you end up losing your pay because some guys banged her and got her pregnant some years ago, now you are not together and she can ask for child support and get it even though you probably just hooked up at your place for a year and she would go back to her place and her kids so you nerve truly bonded with them.
He either legally adopted the child or appended his name to the BC ignorantly.

A US case
This hapens all the time. My husband paid for a child that wasn't his. The mistake my husband made and this man made was that they weren't proactive. That man can go to the child support office and file a motion for the DNA test. He can also file for visitation of his own child. Hopefully he didn't sign an affidavit of paternity. In that case all hope is lost.
The United States of America is a combination of Babylon, Egypt, and Sodom and Gomorrah. The evil you don't find in other countries you find in the United States of America. It is not worth living in the United States of America. Truly, it is not.
Those laws are not made to intentionally destroy your life. Men should know the laws concerning child support in the state they reside in. You may end up paying child support for your step child after breaking up

If you are married or to any woman with children weather you are the real father of those children or not you will pay child support. Only if both of you didn't marry you are free from paying
Some key information is missing. If the woman's son didn't have a father on his birth certificate and the woman and man got married, it is very possible that the man would become father by default. In some American states all children born within a marriage are assumed to be the responsibility of the husband, even if the child is not biologically his.
It is likely that he has been given responsibility for that child and he doesn't even know it. Also, child support procedures have the child at heart. It is not an attack on men. This woman is definitely deceptive though. This is why it is important to research things before you jump in head first!!

Unfortunately, the courts put the on us on the man, which if he’s not financially able to do so, he’s stuck. That being said, there are a few holes in the story. Is he sure he hasn’t unknowingly adopted the first child? Also, it’s not like the first child was conceived while they were married. In addition, without a job, the enforcement agencies cannot threaten you with jail time. That’s because there’s constant liaison between your payroll department and the enforcement agency. So if there’s no money they can’t come after you. That’s why many men simply stop working in an effort to avoid child support. I used to work in an environment where we snatched income for child support – no income no support, period! Was he earning an income but evading child support? Where I agree the system can be unfair, there’s something missing in the facts.

Dem gyal yah wicked. He needs to check the laws in the state where they initially got eloped. There is always a way to get around things like this. He can even sue her for fraud because he didn’t legally adopt the child. If another man’s name is on the birth certificate, he needs to get a DNA test, appeal the child support, and bring ALL the receipts of payments/documents. Also, take a DNA test for the child y’all have together just to be safe. She’s trying to manipulate the situation. Don’t give up. Yes the US may favor women in this situation, but there is always a way to get around this. It may get messy, but stay grounded. Good luck!
Kudos Phranklein you hit all the points here in this episode. It's only people who have stayed so long in the West say 2 to 3 decades upwards can truly understand the points you laid out. When you answered the question on basic amenities I knew instantly that this man is spot on. At a stage in one's life you start to look beyond basic amenities. We don't know it all, if we did some people would not come to the West.
It’s crazy that the judge don’t even want to hear or let him take dna test. It’s also hard to track a case from state to state since the woman moved. It will take time and meanwhile the guy will be paying. He will need money for a lawyer otherwise it’s hard if you are doing all the legal issues by yourself. The system is really wicked and hard to get out of out and it’s mostly on one side(the woman’s).

I'm a feminine woman but I will not see something is wrong and say its not wrong. That woman is wicked. A lot of baby mums are like this especially here in the uk they will use child support to kill your finances and they use that same money to look after themselves than the child in question. It's really sad. She's evil. I pray that man gets all the help he needs to get justice out of this. And I also say he should also do dna on his suppose child his claiming cos if she can lie that her first child from another man is this man's child what else can she lie about? He should do dna to be sure.
Hello phrankleen, according to the law in Western countries a man that married to a single mother he is responsible for the child support of those children it doesn't matter whether the child is belong to him or to other men. The law are designed to favour women and if the women divorce you married to another men then you're free from giving her child support. When it comes to relationship the system the not favour men in western world.. I'm sorry that many man had no idea of how law favour women in western world until you face the law..

Child support is no joke. In New York State it is 20% for one child, 25% for two children, 29% for three children, and 35% for four children. Just imagine a man with three children, each child from a different "baby mama". And just imagine this man owing unpaid child support for each of the children.. That is 60% of his paycheck. Having to negotiate this amount down to 30% depends on the willingness of the mamas (remember, each has been getting 20% but now has to agree to 10%). It is BAD!!

In some states all it takes is for the child to call you daddy and you are responsible for the child support till 18 or 21, biological father or not. I was hit with child support for a child that was born in the US when I was still in Africa by my ex during our divorce. The Judge asked her if I was the biological father, She said "No", the Judge asked her if I adopted the child, she said "No". The Judge asked "Then why do you want him to pay child support for a child that is not his?" She replied "Because he is the only dad my child has ever known." The Judge responded "It sounds nice and cute and I wish that was the way it works but by law I am not allowed to grant your request based on what you said. It is not enough. The choice is his if he wants to maintain a relationship with your child. You can't force him. I am sure he will because he looks like a decent guy." . . . LOL
I know someone who dated a single mother with three children for six months. This man didn’t have papers, but had a friend who gave him his late brother’s papers to work with before he even met the woman.
Three months after they split up, he received a bill of $12000 for back child support for three children he even barely knew. He promptly gave the papers back to his friend and left the state.
Another incident about a gay brother who be friended a girl whiles they were in college. The girl became pregnant after one night stand and told everybody that the gay brother was the father. The brother didn’t take it seriously as everyone who knew him knows he’s gay.
Two years later, on his way to work, he was pulled over by the police for expired tag and promptly told he had a warrant for unpaid child support. He spent a week in jail, until his parents bailed him out. It took him three years to clear his name, only because this good for nothing girl failed to attend court numerous times. His parents had to even remortgage their house.
The system is so sexist. why cant women pay child support when men commit adultery ? this modern feminist are just bunch of privileged and entitled people.
