  1. Why wouldnt you apologize to another human being if you are wrong, regardless if they are your child? Crazy talk to not hold ones self to a higher standard just to be a decent human, if not to teach them to strive to do better as well.

  2. This! One of the reasons I delayed having children was to deal with and heal from the parental trauma I endured. As I begin to study child and developmental psychology I knew the best thing I could do for my future spouse and THEN children was to heal. I didn't want them to be collateral damage for what I refused to or didn't know to address. Definitely better ready now to be a wife and mother. Healing is a journey not a destination.
