  1. I grew up on New Britain Island in Rabaul. If you want to see and experience the ''tourist'' attractions mentioned in this video the tourists need to look at a map of PNG and see where each ''area'' is. You have to fly to New Britain Island from mainland PNG. You have to fly to the Trobriand Islands from mainland PNG. A Kokoda Track trip takes in vicinity of 10 days…it is not a 'day trip'. You fly out from the capital city Port Moresby. You have to fly to Madang from Port Moresby. If you want to see 'volcanos' the best known are on New Britain Island….Tavurvur/Vulcan which destroyed the main township Rabaul. Rabaul is still operational and visited by many cruise ships. Goroka Show takes place in the highlands on mainland PNG at certain time of the year. To get there you have to fly to Port Moresby. A major yearly mask festival takes place also on New Britain Island. PNG and WW11 Pacific war history. If you want to see it….Kokoda Track or fly to Rabaul from Port Moresby. Rabaul has an outstanding Japanese war history. Japanese naval base was in Rabaul. Kavieng on New Ireland also has outstanding Japanese war history. For those who love marine world…diving, snorkelling, swimming, surfing, big game fishing…New Ireland is the most popular. Madang…diving/snorkelling…magnificent pristine reef systems. For those who have passion for birds….bird trips on mainland PNG…..seeing the birds of paradise. Fly out from Port Moresby. PNG….is one of the last unspoiled, pristine world of rainforest/reef. It hasn't been desecrated by centuries of tourism. Take care of our beautiful country when you visit. Look after it and respect it. Enjoy your holiday for whatever reason you visit. Love PNG….it's worth it.
