Thank you Australia for your relentless patronage for PNG at many fronts including sports.

If it wasn't for China, this wouldn't have been made possible by AU too soon as it happened. Thanks CHINA

Stop complaining about your taxpayers' dollars. In overall view, Australia benefits most from PNG. If you contniously complain, the people of PNG will protest to our PM to pull off from this recent deal to join 18th NRL team and we will concentrate on our local league. How we deal business with other countries Australia will not put its bloody nose into our internal affairs.

China would outclassed Australia by bulding world.class staduims for any sports or introducing world class roads and transport system than Australia.
Even a naval base in Port Moresby however in respect to restore peace we are dialling with Australia.
China would have given us 20 billion Kina compared to Australia.

The pacific nations are the future of the NRL and the vessel by which they will expand the game. PNG has a higher population than every other pacific nation combined. They’re also our closest country by land mass and RL is their national sport. It’s risky, but if it work it will completely change the game. Rugby league will by far be the most popular sport in the Pacific. AFL could only dream of having that reach, particularly because that’s a game that’s only played by white twinks 😂

Just let China build their base. Australia doesn't care or have the heart for PNG anyways. We PNG people have to look at what truly will benefit us economically for our own greater good. If one mine's operation could put our currency value equal to the US$ just 10 years after independence our true value was beyond Australia's and that was through 1 mine Panguna. Now with all the other mines coming into operation and the oil and gas projects going on we have devalued ourselves our leaders are corrupt our system of governance is corrupt public service is a joke we the people really have to think of us ourselves and our country for our sake and the future generations. No game or foreign governments will solve our problems we have to do it ourselves united as one i
