  1. Can't believe I'm taking the longest route in the world in a few weeks And I'll have to walk through that country 😮 follow me cuz I'm takin a trip from Fresno, Ca to South Africa and starting from there ❤

  2. If they're so poor, how is he wearing a $360 Moschino tshirt? This is a brand only the ultra rich, high fashion involved Americans wear. The typical well off American doesn't even wear this brand. I don't understand how he's wearing it. He could feed his family for years if he didn't waste his impoverished 3rd world wages on high fashion

  3. I really wish i could swap places with you and be there. Why? Sometimes i feel like i need a cold hard reality check, these documentaries sure to hell helps but being on the ground… i couldnt imagine the impact it will have on ones selfe. i swear all the time in my life i keep thinking i want to change things e.g my housing, better pay; and always think theres something greener on the otherside. Not out of greed, more the fact i just want personal space and be able to have my own place but in reality i need to be thankful for where i am now and dont have the same struggles as people like these; and must help.

I have been through a lot of tough shit, but its a different kind of tough shit compared to what these people go through and although its been hard, i really need to not let it affect me as its literally nothing in comparison to these peoples situations. Its made me realise i aint suffering and am more fortunate. Im also in a position where i can help.

Sure i may end up in my overdraft but i got a job that can put money back in my account, i wont starve for days like these unfortunate souls and the need help.

Im definitely donating. The girl with the gloves on her feet broke me to tears. Theres me worrying today that my trainers were close to breaking and was annoyed about having to eventually spend money on a new pair…but in fact i have at least 4 pairs of boots i can wear… And that little girl is wearing just gloves!! Felt awful to even worry about my stupid ass trainers.

Thanks nick for doing these vids. Been watching your vids for a while now and everytime they help me see the world differently and opens me up to new issues. I dont watch the news as you can never know whats truth so i do rely on these videos from you and other travellers to see the world, view others perspectives and understand in a more honest in depth form. Keep up the good work ❤

  4. African Aid Logic:

Build dykes to hold back flood waters that are literally higher elevation than the ground…. yes.
Relocate entire camp to a safer area where the ground is higher than the water… nah.

The ongoing costs of holding the water back is impossible to continue long term, what happens when the US dollar collapses and foreign aid pulls out? Because that is going to happen.

The natural movement of people will dictate that they finally relocate, soooooooo why are we wasting valuable resources doing the dumbest work? Answer = Corruption.

Sudan didn't have a problem until the UN got involved, then all of a sudden South Sudan is formed and there's a massive crisis, can anyone else put 1 and 1 together? Answer = Its the Oil.

Everything you see in this video series, is literally man made. I watched this unfold 10 years ago as a South African and while we are a world away from our brothers in Northern and Central Africa, we are connected in spirit and it is absolutely heart breaking to see what the west has done to Africa.

Gaddafi warned us, multiple leaders have been demonized when warning us about this, but here we are living in the dystopian reality we were warned about, shameless.

The Lack of Westerners understandings of what is going on here, from reading the comments, absolutely shocking. Still under the assumption the UN will help lol.

This is what the UN does, why do you think those soldiers were from Mongolia??? Because a foreign man with a gun doesn't mind shooting someone, whereas a local is far less likely to shoot their own people, so what we see here is a rinse and repeat solution.

Send a different nationality to "peace keep" so that they don't mind killing the locals, welcome to the UN and the real way this world works here in Africa, and I am sure this goes for my brothers in the middle East too, We see what you did to Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.

  5. I can't keep this thought from my mind. The billions and billions of US tax dollars sent to Ukraine, (Zelenkys Dubai mansion and Paris shopping trips) what change could that money effect in this country ? Then, perhaps add in the billions given to non citizens shopping at our Wamart with money given to them by our government for illegally crossing a border. I watch them get into new cars and trucks and drive away. I just saw a child that's been lying on a floor for six years. A fraction of the moneybillions just mentioned would straighten out those issues. Including that tribal war BS. The Nato blue helmets wandering around doing what exactly ?. Our world is devolving quickly.

  6. I know everybody was outraged when he asked the question, but I still haven't heard anybody give a valid answer to Trump's question when he asked why we would want more immigrants from shit hole countries

  7. If you feed these people, they will just make millions of children, who will all emigrate and turn Europe and America into a cesspool just like the one they created in South Sudan.

  8. now you see how an all black country looks. every all black country looks like this. all white countries? switzerland? perfect countries. no problems. the blacks are the problem everywhere. in any country.

  9. I was working with UNICEF to feed babys in poor countries. Its sooo heartbreaking to see this 💔 I cant understand why this happens 😞 why no one can help them, so not fair

  10. Unfortunately I don't think providing random medical aid, money or infant nutrition will make much difference. The problem is the level of the country's spiritual energy and it won't advance or develop in any inherent sense until it improves its level of being. There is nothing inherently wrong with South Sudan, and yet it faces the same problems as much of the rest of Africa. A country is its people, and these landscapes simply reflect the predominant energy of the residents.

  11. So much suffering & doing without things that I probably take for granted. I do want to say that the people are beautiful with beautiful souls. So tall & thin with gorgeous smiles. They're warm, friendly, hardworking & love their families. They don't have to talk to Nick but they do welcoming him into their lives & homes.

  12. I wonder why you don’t mention the cause of the conflict in Sudan? Muslim men coming into villages and killing and taking people’s homes… the Muslim men at the beginning of the video obviously said life is good…

  13. This reminds me of a med school professor from Nigeria who told us he grew up in a place where "a guy lost his leg and walked around on a homemade tree branch prosthetic."

  14. Out of curiosity, do you ever give some of the families money, especially the ones you go into their homes? Or are you worried it might start conflict?

  15. We haven't heard from each other for ages wouldn't you agree my email is different but we know each other _ Nigerian slum _ my comment or was it a what's up text to another ? Can't remember , anyhow dear traveller _ that's A Political issue that suff being given to the malnourished baby is particularly a sceptic food for a Muslim country. They believe in life or nothing _ much of what happens in such countries is agreed upon for deficiency of life _ Saudi Arabia and your travel their is another of what you should remember of a disrespect towards you for being lifeless and confident as a Mzungu. _ your kindness is noticed _ your knowledge is limited
