  1. You guys were very nice about the whole thing but the island looks kind of no fun although i do like a lot of alone time but it looked a little dirty unorganized thank you for sharing.

  2. Doing things cost effective is GREAT don’t get me wrong but the excursion is a perfect example of the extra customer service you get when you’re at the more luxurious/high-end establishments…. The lack of communication regarding cancellation, scheduling, etc. is sorely wanting and they didn’t offer you any alternatives due to the weather – very very sad trip 😢😢😢

  3. Prancing around as gay men in a Muslim country and complaining about everything… is less than necessary. You could try to be men. And men don't complain, accept responsibly of others and love women.

  4. I realized watching you both that I had a wonderful week in Maldives last week because I didn't have any expectations whatsoever and it rained for half my trip but just being there made me the happiest person in the world

  5. So sad that you didn't get to see the whale sharks again 🙁 Although December is classed as a dry month, that is mainly for the North islands. It's actually one of the wettest in the year (though over slightly less days), for anywhere in the centre and south(i.e. Malé and below). Glad you managed to find some positives though!

  6. I moved to Mauritius six years ago and you guys would love it here. Stunning beaches, rain forests, mountains, but best of all it’s not totally taken over by tourism. It’s easy to find the “real” Mauritius and there’s plenty to do when it rains!

  7. But why all this effort to go to Dighurah? Last month I took a fast boat as soon as I landed at Malè airport, arrived on the island in an hour and a half, 60 dollars, zero stress

  8. Hello, I was in Dhigurah this January 2024, and in my case the expectations versus reality were exactly the same. A spectacular sea, the water like a pool and an impressive blue color. You went during the rainy season and January is the dry season. I've seen your video and it doesn't seem like the same island I was on. We were able to walk from Dhigura to the other resort island, and it was best to do it in the afternoon when the tide is low.

  9. I went to Dhigurah and took the night speedboat to the island. It was the bumpiest ride ever! I was just relieved to be on dry land. The island was stunning, but there was hardly anyone there, and it rained and rained and howled. My fault for going during the monsoon season, but I did have some dry days.

  10. Great video! It doesn't seem so disastrous. Seems like what could happen on any trip. PS Oskar is so handsome!! Beautiful eyes!! Delicious 🙂

  11. I’m booked for a tour of Sri Lanka and the Maldives mid Nov this year … I now have my fingers, toes, etc crossed that my experience is much better than yours was. I’m there for 5 nights and hoping I’m able to at least see a Whale Shark. So sorry your trip didn’t live up to expectations 🇦🇺😎

  12. This is definitely not a true representation of the Maldives, it is complete paradise and should not be done on a budget, it is a lux place which is so unique and special, this is an embarrassing trip in which you have gone to a local island where locals live and are mocking such a stunning place, this is a silly upload designed to devalue a beautiful place, go back when you can afford it!

  13. You guys picked the wrong island, we were in the Maldives in december and stayed at Eco friendly private resort island Reethi Faru Resort. It was so beautiful, clean and serene, not any plastic or garbage anywhere and they worked to keep it really clean. We stayed in a water villa and it was just heaven, dont take the speedboat though, book a seaplane. After landing in Male we took a domestic flight and then a speedboat (took 1 hour out to our island… ) and after dropping off the first lot on an island the 3 guys just pressed the pedal to the floor😵‍💫🤯 it was a fucking nightmare, no life jacket, high waves, we lifted 20 cm from our seats , hurt our backs , almost slipped to the floor , a bit of my tooth came off, for 50 minutes…. tried to shout but they didnt hear, they were just in the front laughing and us 6people onboard were scared and angry, we could have easily flipped over in those waves . We were all shocked wrecks when we arrived and complained right away to the reception. They told us they dont hire those boats, your travelangency does. They have heard this before so choose the seaplane, but if you still take the speedboat then demand to have a lifejacket on and talk to the driver not to drive extremely fast so you bounce and hurt ! They all hanged on a pole in the front of the boat , its crazy they didnt offer us one. Other than that horrific experience our stay at Reethi Faru Resort was excellent and all the staff was so nice.

  14. Such a shame you guys had the experience you did here! I was in Dhighura last week and it did not look like that, it had been cleaned up a LOT! It is still a beautiful place even when raining, I agree with what you said about the local islands not being fancy and manicured like the resorts but tbh I think it’s a more authentic experience being there amongst the locals! If you go back you should try Maafushi next time, it’s much better 😍

  15. Omg I absolutely loved your video. I’m so sorry your plans did not happen for you but I truly love your energy and enthusiasm. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Btw you two are adorable. Peace and blessings. 🫶🏼😘

  16. Ive always wanted to go to Maldives. Very cozy and amazing view to see the beaches😁

Btw, do add Kuching and Miri in ur bucketlist. This 2 cities i am mentioning here is in a state of Sarawak, Malaysia. Located in a borneo island. So much hidden gems to explain. Hopefully u know this place bcus malaysia is a separate country

Top visit in Sarawak when you both are in

    Kuching:
    – Waterfront
    – Sarawak Cultural Village
    – Damai Beach (Near Sarawak Sarawak Cultural Village)
    – Bako National Park
    – Semenggoh Wild Life (Orang Utan)
    – Bukit Santubong
    – Siniawan (21km from Kuching City)
    – Borneo Highland (Cold place like spring)

    Miri:
    – Canada Hill
    – Cocobana
    – Esplanade Beach
    – Mulu Cave
    – Times Square (not New York🤣)
    – Marina Bay (not Singapore🤣)

  17. We went on a family trip to the maldives when I was like 7 and it was truly so boring and I almost had my leg chopped off by an animal trap when I went exploring by myself….not the best….😅
