  1. POS on Nigerian streets is a “business” that should not exist!!! It is a shame that POS dealers have cash right in front of banks and yet the banks don’t have the cash to dispense. Only in Nigeria!

  2. Nigeria define things according to the wishes of the elites and bigwigs of the land If a man is spraying his own earned money.its abusing the currency but those operators and bankers jerrymandering and tricking of the populace is almost ignored or somehow justified.Thats the true abuse of the currency that affects adversely the common man.

  3. Cash doesn't get to the bank as it used to. They buy directly from cash cows, especially market women and fuel stations, making the POS agent cost of operation very high which reflects on their charges. I can tell you this for free, you cannot blame the banks, its the system.

  4. Why are the POS agents replacing the work of the banks and ATMs? The original plan of the POS is to make ease PAYMENT transactions so, the POS is for business, for businesses and NOT A BUSINESS and this is to counter Rufau's point. Now, for every transaction these POS agents make, they are paid for it, at the end of the month, the transactions are summed and a certain percentage is also paid them so, why still charge people who come to use their services? This is a ripping off which even got worse after the scarcity of naira due to naira redesign and then politics.
