I’ve seen Jester Bell’s review of this film, and I already have an idea about how bad it is.
The nominations are undoubtedly a statement by the Academy and very likely out of spite in response to recent criticisms of Hollywood wokeness. Too bad that while critics were split for obvious reasons, it seemed to be rejected by a broad spectrum of viewers. It remains to be seen if the Academy would continue to give most if not all of the awards to this movie just to teach the viewers a lesson.
Nobody saw this movie and nobody cares about it. The Oscars are worthless now. Remember when they used to nominate movies people loved and talked about and still watch decades later?

The funniest part that movie is based in Mexico and some issues there, but the movie was not filmed in México and it has just one mexican actress, the rest from others counties.
