At Oracle CloudWorld in London, Oracle introduced the Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, a groundbreaking platform that enables businesses to create, extend, deploy, and manage AI agents seamlessly. As part of the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite, this new solution empowers customers and partners to build intelligent AI agents tailored to their unique business requirements, driving productivity and automation across enterprises.

A New Era of Enterprise AI

Steve Miranda, Executive Vice President of Applications at Oracle, emphasized that AI agents are the next evolution in enterprise applications. He noted that the AI Agent Studio builds on Oracle’s existing AI capabilities, giving businesses greater flexibility to develop AI-driven solutions specific to their needs.

“With the agents already embedded in Fusion Applications and our new AI Agent Studio, customers will be able to further extend automation and ultimately, achieve more while spending less,” Miranda stated.

Key Features of Oracle AI Agent Studio

Oracle AI Agent Studio, available at no additional cost, offers a suite of tools designed to simplify AI agent creation and management. Some of its standout features include:

    • Agent Template Libraries: Users can create AI agents using pre-built templates and natural language prompts, covering scenarios such as opportunity-to-quote processes, return order processing, and shift scheduling.
    • Agent Team Orchestration: Multiple AI agents can collaborate with human employees to complete complex tasks, with options for checkpoints and approvals in multi-step processes.
    • Agent Extensibility: Businesses can modify and enhance Oracle’s pre-packaged AI agents by adding documents, tools, prompts, or APIs to fit industry-specific needs.
    • Choice of LLMs: Users can integrate various large language models (LLMs), including Oracle-optimized models like Llama and Cohere or third-party industry-specific models.
    • Native Fusion Integration: Seamless connectivity with Oracle Fusion Applications allows businesses to deploy AI agents without extensive customizations while maintaining enterprise-specific business logic.
    • Third-Party System Integration: AI agents can connect securely to third-party systems, enabling end-to-end automation beyond Oracle’s ecosystem.
    • Trust and Security Framework: AI agents operate within Oracle’s robust security policies, ensuring compliance without requiring additional configuration.
    • Validation and Testing Tools: Built-in monitoring ensures the reliability, accuracy, and performance of AI-driven workflows.

    Industry and Partner Support

The launch of Oracle AI Agent Studio has garnered enthusiastic support from leading technology and consulting firms.

Accenture’s Chief AI Officer, Lan Guan, highlighted the growing adoption of agentic AI architectures, predicting a surge in investment in 2025. Meanwhile, Deloitte’s Mauro Schiavon emphasized the importance of customization and ROI tracking for AI investments. PwC’s Dan Priest described the move towards agentic organizations as a transformative shift in business operations.

Analysts have also praised the initiative. Holger Mueller of Constellation Research called it a significant step in Oracle’s AI strategy, while Mickey North Rizza of IDC underscored its business value at no additional cost. Evelyn McMullen of Nucleus described it as a game-changer for enterprise AI adoption.

    Unlocking the Power of AI

By introducing Oracle AI Agent Studio, Oracle continues to push the boundaries of AI in enterprise applications. Businesses can now develop custom AI-driven workflows that enhance efficiency and drive new levels of innovation. With seamless integration, flexible customization, and a robust security framework, Oracle AI Agent Studio is set to redefine how enterprises leverage AI for competitive advantage.
