One year of Israel’s war on Gaza: Resilience and identity

After a year-long campaign of destruction, forced displacement, and genocide by Israel, the Palestinians in Gaza have persevered and shown the world the true meaning of the word resilience. Many continue to live with dignity and also use creativity and innovation under the most testing of circumstances.

  1. I now Remember a Boy Dancing and clapping at a celebration of some sort while Israeli Soldiers stood nearby ! He clapped and danced asking them to join in the Defiance and strength he and the others showed really humbled me ! I hope he is still alive and with his family ❤💜

  2. Coming from an Italian who my family worked hard for what they have ,for me Palestinians woman are the strongest woman in the world I praise you free Palestine my heart breaks for you ❤this needs to stop

  3. That people have to resort to such things for survival is uplifting and at the same time maddening. The systematic subjugation, humiliation of already marginalized people is a true stain on humanity. Thank you AJ for this, documentation is so important and that can never be understated.

  4. The beautiful brave children and people of Palestine show their love and humanity to the entire world despite all they have endured and enduring but all we see of the European Zionist Jews occupying Palestine is how evil and dark their hearts really are. Every time the Palestine and Lebanon standup to the Zionist IDF, the first thing their Satanic leader Netenyahua does is tell his IDF goons to kill more civilians and kill even more babies and children , rape, torture even more women and civilians. It is clear the Israeli Zionist Monsters are waging war on civilians. Russia, China, Iran and Turkyie need to stop these Zionist devils now😮😮

  6. To all the zionists, it was a miktake to chose palestine as a home for the Jows. You will never win against sucht people. For some reason the British did fool you by giving you this land, they wanted to get rid of you from Europe or also something else?

  7. Everytime arabs try to annihilate Israel, it never ends well for them. I feel sorry for the palestinians used as pawns on behalf of the arab worlds aggression and obsession to destroy israel for last 75yrs. And the obsession to kill jews since the beginning of islam..

  8. There are 12 Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, according to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), with over 450,000 residents. Many of them lived in Syria and Lebanon before 1948, not in Palestine. Palestinian refugees in Lebanon face significant restrictions: they are barred from over 30 professions, cannot own property, have limited access to healthcare and social services, and are excluded from public education and political participation. They remain stateless, reliant on UNRWA, and live in overcrowded camps with poor infrastructure and limited mobility.
Hizbollah, Shia, took over the country 40 years ago. Their annual income is estimated around $1 billion USD, 70% from Iran. The Hizbullah have done nothing good for those Palestinians. They couldn’t care less about them. They keep them poor and use them like slaves.
In Israel, Palestinians are offered citizenship, they can vote, get elected to parliament, and can start their own political party. They enjoy freedom of speech that is protected by law. They have excellent public healthcare and education, modern utilities and urban infrastructure. They can own land, a business and a bank account – like any other Israeli citizen. Many of them serve in the IDF to protect Israel from terrorist groups like Hamas and Hizbollah, and work as police officers, lawyers and judges, doctors and nurses, scientists and engineers, bankers and accountants, teachers and social workers, and in many other professions, and they make good money. They have a passport and can travel anywhere they want. Those Palestinians chose peace and are welcome to live in Israel. Those that chose the corrupt Palestinian Authoroty, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Ezadim El Quassam, and other terrorist organizations in Gaza and the West Bank are now living in the Stone Age. So who is better to Palestinians, Israel or Hezbollah? Israel or Hamas? Israel or Lebanon? Israel or Syria? Israel or Jordan? Israel or Egypt? Israel or Iran? If you care about the Palestinian people, learn the truth behind the headlines and the lies in the Arab networks and social media.

  9. So sad….

Those innocent now, imagine if they stopped the Oct 7th 2023 (hamas and supporters)…! How things could have been…

In a democracy- It is always important to whom u choose as a leader, not for yourself but for generations

  10. AHMED, you really believe anyone outside of your Palestinian Islamist's Zoo is interested in your slimy, naive and theatralic "poetry" – Stop crying,

    RELEASE THE HOSTAGES!

  11. One thing that evil can not break is human spirit in the face of adversity. We, as the human race, need to hold these people as real-life heroes. I never understood the Palestine struggle and never understood why the local South African Muslim community has been protesting until now. It's not about religion, but about being humans and valuing all life the same.
