Smokey Jollof Rice

1 cup washed rice
4 chilli bell peppers (tatashe)
2 fresh tomatoes
2 tablespoons tomato paste
3 onion bulbs
3 fresh pepper
3 garlic cloves
3 bay leaves
1 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 teaspoon thymes
3 seasoning cubes
Salt to taste
2 cooking spoons oil
1 1/2 cups water

  1. Thank you for the video. It is so helpful. My challenge is how do you preserve the food for that long? 6 days? I've only ever managed to keep food in freezer for 3 days. After that, the food gets bad

  3. The one pot flame shines permanently like the red planet (Mars) and the planet Venus over West (Africa) in the middle of a mid-December night! Smokey Jollof Rice! There is more! Yellow Rice! Chicken in Creamy Sauce! Vegetable Stir Fry! Red Kidney Beans! Sautéed Vegetables (shredded kale leaves!)! Vegetable Salad! Fresh, fresh, fresh! Rich, rich, rich! I love them all! I crave them all! I miss home! In a day, I was asked four questions and I smiled and said thanks to each question: ‘hey you, why are you such a fine boy?’ ‘Why are you so tall with nicely shaped long limbs and fresh hairless skin?’’ Why do you have so much energy, and so hardworking?’ ‘Why is your brain so sharp?’ Well thanks to God by November 2, 2023, I would have provided several hundred descriptions in my comments of all the healthy, sumptuous, delicious, and miraculous Pan-African foods/dishes prepared by our esteemed chefs that are responsible for me being what I am! In addition to Chloe Ting’s “2020 Challenge” (strengthens my back), weightlifting, and treadmill.
