My scholl in Costa Rica nama
Escuela Republica de Haiti .
Whenever I hear of the heroic actions of Haitians, I remember the struggle for Biafra. God bless the conscious African people who will never forget their quest for freedom
Toussaint a warrior indeed. the bible says "never trust thy enemy" that was is eventual down fall which Africa should learn from
THANK YOU, ROYALTY, SWEET, BEAUTIFUL EMPRESS DR.BUMNI OYISAN,FOR THAT WONDERFUL AND PROFOUND HISTORY OF THE PROUD,RESILIENT AND BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEINGS OF HAITI. THEY'RE TRENDSETTERS AND MUST BE EMBRACED BY ALL AFRICANS BUT MORE SO BY DESCENDANTS OF THE ENSLAVED IN THE DIASPORA. LET'S HELP TO LIBERATE OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN HAITI FINANCIALLY AND OTHERWISE.
Thank you
That's why the majority of whites hate us and they make sure we remain this way imposing some puppet leaders and supporting ditactors in some countries across the continent just to avoid otherwise but we shall stand up and rise to the victory!!!
Please can you do an episode on the largess slave revolt in US history. It was in Louisiana where my fathers side of the family was enslaved.
The people of Saint-Domingue Haiti And also the Jamaican Maroons have a lot in common!
Warriors.
This history remind me of The maroons in Jamaica in 1650s and the 17th centuries independent polity and control their own economy, political and social system.
I appreciate you for this video.
T. Louverture was the first to start the revolution, and one of many men who led the revolution, However Jean-Jacques Dessalines was the most important figure, and the one who gave the Haitians (Africans) their liberation.
Pffff hahahahahahaha
Haitian here……✊🏿🇭🇹✊🏿
Proud African descent.
The true black panther along with Desalines. Don't forget about him as well. Haitians along with other Africans, "liberated" South America from European colonialism.
As a Jamaican African, I laud my fellow African brothers and sisters of Haiti for their inspired glorious victories over the Colonizers in the past. Even in victory these White Supremist of France and their European allies including the USA, feel that they still have the say in land ownership and how our people conduct themselves. So utterly and inappropriately to being ridiculous, I must say. I know, it is of their hateful minds and activities that are responsible for Haiti's present economic plights. Together as Africans in the Diaspora and in Africa we stand in unity for the total liberation of all of our peoples from such plights. One Love💖.
My fellow strong Africans! Why have we given ourselves vulnerably to the world we were leading to misuse us? Let's quacking off again and stand out to fight for our wellbeing please🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
It's not too late at all.
Thank you greatly my great sister, full of wisdom💪🏿
I will repeat, Or perish. What does that mean for many of us?
Actually, the real credit for the Haitian revolution goes to Boukman Dutty, a Jamaican revolutionary.
NEVER RELY ON THE OPPRESSOR TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH ABOUT HISTORY.
Teach Mama, Teach!👍🏿✊🏿
It’s a great story but we need to start living at the moment now so tells the poppet leaders in Africa so we can fight those weak and selfish leaders .
Dessalines and Toussaint are my absolut heroes, along with Sankara, Machal, Gaddafi, Biko and Lumumba! ❤
Toussaint was born in Haiti, but his father was a Prince in the principality of Alada a part of Benin. There's is a Toussaint statue there. Toussaint was fluent in the Fon language, most of the soldiers of his battalion were from Dahomey. Toussaint was truly a genius.
I just finished reading the book "Toussaint L'ouverture – The Black Spartacus", written by an African. If you read this book, you will appreciate the complexity of the situation that he had to deal with.
there is also great story about abyssinians(ethiopians) during minilik ,tewodros…eras which shows africas black nation victrious too long live Africa.
Toussaint Louverture is my hero. I wish most of Africa and the Caribbean’s leaders would have Toussaint Louverture mind set. We have the advantage because we are blessed with many resources but the truth is we are afraid because it will lead to us arming ourselves to fight our oppressors. They are many story’s of our people fighting back, this is why our oppressors remodel slavery through brain washing and separating us. They brand their money and benefits and we come running for a better life disregarding the fact that we are still in slavery being used for our skills, spending back the money we work hard to gain, many broken homes, and so own.
My seventh times removed Grandfather is General Henry Christophe.
I'm Christophe on one side and Colon on the other side of my family.
It is a small world.
The origins of the Haiti rebellion was started on the Bois, Cayman.
Toussaint took to the momentum created by
Jean- Jacques Dessalines.
Please sister dig deeper into Dessalines.
With out him there would have been no revolution.
Thank you for speaking truth.
More ideas for video. Nanny of Jamaica and the connection between maroon town in Jamaica and maroon town in Sierra Leon
From his words raised the great Nat Turner. Great video , I alive it
Please do a video on Makadal . Francois Makadal.please please please
