Diego Suarez is my favorite city in Madagascar so far. Not too big, not too small, lots of cafes, restaurants , boulangeries. With some tourists and nightlife unlike other cities I have been in recently.

Just was there in Ocotber 2023 for 3 weeks – the first time after 9 years. Still looks the same. Really good place if you look for good food and nightlife. Nevertheless got a bit bored but will definitely go back there in 9 years again
