The two protagonists are both foolish. The older one thought because he had money he was God that could do and undo. The younger one spent his time and money seeking for revenge. If you have to go after everyone who hurt you when you were still trying to make it, you'll never live the life you were supposed to!
Yul attacked KOK unprovoked. He didn't owe him anything. He contextually told that he can't help him and that was within his right, because, it's his money.
Secondly, Yul, having got into relationship with KOK's daughter to the point of getting her pregnant, supposed to come down from his high horse, swallow his endemic pride and go down on his knees to settle things with his self-inflicted intended father-in-law.
Sometimes, we choose to end war not because we're tired, but because, it's no longer us, but innocent generation.
