Ghanaian gospel musician Ohemaa Mercy, who has spearheaded this worship event since its inception in 2013, is once again leading the charge for what promises to be a spiritually uplifting experience themed Tehillah the Bethel Experience.

As the 4pm event marks its 11th edition, organisers have enlisted an impressive lineup of gospel music heavyweights from across Africa.

Nigerian gospel stars Ebuka Songs and Abbey Ojomu will bring their vibrant ministry to the stage, alongside a host of Ghanaian gospel icons which include MOGmusic, Nacee, Piesie Esther, Ceccy Twum, Mama Esther, Kofi Owusu Peprah, and Rama Antwi, all of whom are expected to deliver powerful performances that will elevate the worship experience.

Speaking at the launch of the event on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Tang Palace in Accra, Ohemaa Mercy emphasised that the event remains free of charge. She encouraged everyone to attend, not just for the music, but also for the spiritual encounter that awaits patrons.

“We hope that everyone will join us for this special event. It’s more than just a musical performance, it’s a spiritual journey where we encounter God in a profound way. We invite everyone to come and experience a transformation that will ignite a deeper passion for worship,” she said.

The Ote Me Mu singer also shared a personal revelation about the significance of holding this year’s Tehillah Experience in September, her birth month.

She disclosed that this decision was made following divine instruction, marking it as a time of covenant renewal.

“God instructed me to move the event to my birth month, signifying a covenant. When I received this confirmation, I was overwhelmed with emotion and felt a deep sense of fulfilment. It had been a burden on me, and once I shared this with my team, we obeyed God’s instruction.

“My birth month is a time of covenant with Him, where He will reveal the face of our covenant and renew it, impacting all those who will attend Tehillah Experience this year.

This year’s event is a spiritual pilgrimage to Bethel, the place where God meets His people, with the expectation of life-changing encounters and testimonies”, she added.
