The CLOSURE OF CNN PHILIPPINES, is a voluntary shutdown by the said Corporation because of dire need of financial income! Their continued existence would only lead to further drain from their coffers. The corporation is not financially capable to operate because want of advertisers, or commercial endorsements! Broadcasts companies exist because of Advertisers! No one is to blame of the closure but the company’s failure to generate income🇵🇭🇵🇭✅☮️🙏‼️

Legacy media can be bought. Just look at what happened during the pandemic. They were all in the pockets of big pharma.
Dire strait of legacy media? And blame it on who this time? You should blame it on yourself. Journalists and media in general abused their profession. Instead of giving fair, unbiased, comprehensive news coverage, media and its news "celebs" used it to spread propaganda, promote (for a fee?) other people or groups self interests, spread lies and fake news, and try to manipulate people's opinion to lean towards centain ideas. Then if govt tried to crack down on media, news orgs and their prima donna personalities would cry foul, restriction of of press freedom yada yada yada. Why is legacy news media dying? Coz people arent not as stupid as in 1986. We now have the internet where we have access to a wide range of news coverage about a certain topic. We can now discern what is true and what is propaganda. And we get a bigger view of the whole situation unlike mainstream news media where they only show what they want people to see. CNN's closure is just the start, tv in general is dying. Better learn some new skills if you wish to survive
