  1. The Nat Turner analogy is an insult to the black struggle against slavery. There is NO comparison and a shameful analogy. The premise is so flawed from the get-go. Slavery is pure evil. A defensive war against violent jihad is not and a war has both collateral damage and renegade soldiers committing/evil actions, even war crimes. Also: 55 white Americans killed during the slave revolt vs Hamas slaughtering of 1200 and 200 kidnappings (jews). Both the premise and straight mathematics don't add up. I will say it again: Finkelstein is not a professor – he was not tenured – and his H-index is lower than mine. People: WISEN UP!

  2. Prof. Finkelstein stood alone and fought all the hate and attacks against him…..and now the young generation are with him. Thank you sir for your undying dedication to justice.

  3. Read comments from radicals below and above. 👆👇. Finkelstein is not a tenured scholar and his H-index is lower than mine. Follow science & facts (secular humanism), nothing else. 👊

  4. if there is one thing, one thing only i learned from the history of this conflict, is that israel is US bulldog in the region and will allow it to betray shared human values just to accomplish few geopolitical goals, and that america is the biggest blocker of world peace, nothing less nothing more describe the situation as it is

  5. I don't find his "scholarship" serious Quoting how other partisans said X or Y 10 years previous. History is a matter of selection. There are multiple viewpoint.

If the Israeli response makes any sense it would probably be on how they are affected by war technology change. There are big changes on occupying mindspace, and on asymmetrical warfare. Certainly Israelis believe they have a right to protect themselves. Their response may reflect just how seriously they view their strategic situation, rather than anything to do with Oct 7. I don't think Finkelstein is a military strategist.

  6. He seems very likeable in this format. I wonder about how effective his diatribes are. He seems to be preaching to the choir, and not likely to change any minds. But maybe his approach is to promote the protest and achieve an outcome that way.

  7. To compare slavery where people were raped daily and literally treated like chattel and property, tortured to death, whipped etc with an orangazied terrorist organization (Hamas) funded by Iran which has been murdering Jewish kids for decades, blowing up restaurants, pizzerias, buses, shopping malls even 30 years ago…. palestinian terrorists have been murdering Jews before Hamas was elected, before or after the Oslo accords, before and after 1967, before and after 1948… google Hebron Masscare of 1929. Same like October 7. The idea to compare the two is so preposterous no wonder that Finkelstein is a JOKE 🤡

  8. "Israel's brutal war on Gaza continues" (as if it's not a reaction to the genocide of October 7) and then calls the lunatic finkekstein a scholar. Then he claims he's not an antisemite. From the river to the sea… what a disgusting sick creature.

  9. What an interesting insight. I wonder if the war would have happened in hamass had not attacked Israel. Probably not. Is it wise to leave an implacable enemy active on your doorstep? I think not but perhaps Mr. Finkelstein can offer his insights here too.
