South African singer Nontokozo Mkhize breaks new record on Spotify with her single Esandleni.
The spiritual anthem has officially broken the all-time record for the biggest weekly streams received for any solo song on SA Spotify for a female artist surpassing Adele’s Easy on me.
The fast-rising singer confirmed the news on her Instagram account with a note of gratitude to God.
“And the Lord opened up a path through the water with a strong east wind. The wind blew all that night, turning the seabed into dry land. So the people of Israel walked through the middle of the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on each side!” TO GOD BE THE GLORY,” she wrote.
