I like this song. It talks about an issue that is very close to my heart. When, as a senator in Liberia's first postwar government, I presented Liberia's case for humanitarian aid, peacekeepers and investors, the opposition leader in Ireland's parliament then (now president of Ireland) spoke out strongly against the theft of Africa's resources. He said in summary that Liberia is resource-rich but its people are poor. The cause is bad governance plus vested interest. Sing on Wiyaala. I wish I had the means to bring you to Liberia.
