20:35 the luisatania is here
no one talks about the Titanic anymore, and I think the only reason people dead is because it claimed to be a unsinkable ship which it wasn’t people have better things to do than to talk about shipwrecks
Pretty much everything you said about the Essex is wrong. She was the basis of Moby Dick. She was a whaler, rammed by a bull sperm whale twice while they were attacking a whale pod. The second ramming stove in the side.
Green boots is on Everest.
Green boots.
At 6:10 in the video is "Green Boots" or Tsewang Paljor frozen on Mt. Everest. Yes, he was clearly frozen to death. It happened in the 1996 season. There was a story going around that he was passed by many climbers as he lay dying. Some ascending the mountain and others descending. The term Green Boots occurred because climbers used his body as a type of landmark after he died. Climbers, as they passed, saw his bright neon green boots…hence the nickname. Horrific stuff. There was another man that was thought to be Green Boots, but this was later proven false. Anyway, much respect to all involved. Most mountaineers are aware of this account on Everest as well as the other peaks over 8,000 meters. Not criticizing your channel here, but lots of people are going to recognize that photo instantaneously. Just felt that I wanted to acknowledge him. Thanks
how come you ignored the sinking of the RMS Empress of Ireland, which sank in 14 minutes 1,012 people died, including 840 passengers, after colliding with the SS Storstad in the St. Lawrenz River, May 29, 1914
It kind of sucks when you’re telling the story and then showing parts of the titanic 🤷🏻♂️
The Sultana tragedy: a horrifying loss of 1,800 lives, overshadowed by the headlines of its time. Why does history forget some disasters while immortalizing others?
Kindly Stop Lying About The R.M.S. Titanic, Because It Was Actually The R.M.S. Olympic, Which Sank Back In 1912, After The Massively Criminal Ship Switch That Had Been Done Back Then, For The Insurance $cam . . .
