  1. Mr. Festus Keyamo, do what is right for the country, no matter the consequences…I am sure president Tinubu is appreciative of your efforts. Former CBN governor, Emir Sanusi said he wanted to do same when he was in power.

  2. All the names of people, religious leaders, traditional leaders and organizations laundering money should be made PUBLIC!!! Corruption can NEVER be wiped off if these people are not uncovered!!! Let us know who they are!!! Nobody should be protected or shielded!!!!

  3. Keyamo talks a good game…As a graduate Aviation Management student in Europe, I can see he is copying EU Aviation policy which is nice. If implemented, this will improve aviation safety in Nigeria and hold Airlines to a high standard.
The effect of policy changes on airlines will affect prices of flights….but Unfortunately we lack the discipline to follow through on stuff like this.
The problem of Nigeria has never been with creating policy…It has always been with implementation and continuity.

-What are they doing with bringing direct MRO operations to Nigeria to reduce costs for airlines?
-What are they doing about linking all airports in Nigeria to rail mode of transport?
-What are they doing to connect our airports with direct highways to city centres?
-What are we doing about providing travellers with free Wifi at airports?
-Retraining of immigration is an issue. We saw the Police begging the lady that was riding a bike from Holland to Abuja..Our immigration do that irritating stuff too… Get beggars out of Nigeria airport immigration posts. They are a risk to outbound and inbound experiences…Using free WIFI allow customers report poor experiences with Nigeria immigration at any of our international airports.
-When will we get Nigeria totally covered by radar?
-When are we going to enforce airlines as a matter of policy to provide USB charging for customers on flights?
-When are we upgrading the run way at top regional airports in Nigeria to be able to handle the weight of the A380?
-What are we doing to train a robust Nigerian workforce to install and maintain these safety equipment in Nigeria? All I hear from Keyamo is how he will go to Norway or Europe to get these equipment. What that tells me is that if there are any issues, we have to wait for Norweigians/Europeans to come to Nigeria to fix these in Nigeria. What he is not mentioning is that Norweigians will be the ones maintaining these in Nigeria….What are we doing to train Nigerian engineers to do the maintenance back home in Nigeria (and by extension as a Maintenance hub in West Africa/ Africa) to reduce cost and improve Nigeria's standing and rating on aviation?

BASA with British Airways has always been an embarrassment…My lecturer(a German professional that worked with Lufthansa) used the Nigerian BASA with British Airways to teach us in 2009. This BASA has been in operation for over 20 yrs and Britain (British Airways and its One World alliance AND Virgin and its Sky Team alliance) have milked this BASA since Nigeria airways died.
I got to learn that Nigerian is a Cash cow due to the amount of money they make on Cargo operations and First & Business class tickets…..which was why Lufthansa was hustling to get access…. The point of using Nigeria as an example was to teach us why not to underestimate potential economies when it comes to increasing yield and profitability.
I was so ashamed of Nigeria then. And the status quo has been the same since 2009…. this will increase today with the increase in JAPA to the UK from Nigeria. Nothing has changed since then…

During my last year as an Aviation Management student in Poland….I created a novel Aviation business. Nigeria's aviation ecosystem was terrible in 2011 so I could not return home to start it …I had to reconsider and go to UK to work in Logistics while all my mates went to Dubai to work in Emirates and the big airport there. I couldnt because my passport didnt open me to opportunities there.😠

    Edit !!!
Oh wow…I listened to this to the end….This addressed most of my concerns…. if Keyamo follows through on all of these things he mentioned….I can bet you that in 15 years, Nigeria will be a world class destination for safe air travels.

What Keyamo now has to be careful to do now is to also pay attention to us building Aviation technology and building a Nigerian workforce that will sell services to other African countries. Look at common Ethiopia dwarfing us in Aviation….

I am ready to quit my job in the UK and return to Nigeria to contribute to building this dream. .

  4. Rubbish! Where were they all this while? Even when someone was feeding our schools children during international lockdown. Whose command were they waiting for? Despite all the humongous stealings in the 8yrs of Buhari's kwaruption fighting. Pls play another cartoon and remove this one.

  5. When you listen to them in interviews, they all sound so intelligent and promising. Let them come out of that studio, they will say “I was misquoted”

  6. The whole capital should go back to Lagos since northerners are crying over this. London, Washington and many other capital cities are not located in the centre of the country.

  7. It's unfortunate most Nigerians are only concerned with sectarian politics of north and south than the critical issues that would make the country work for the benefit of all citizens.

  8. Aside from expenses. What about the risk of life of the staff moving to and for Lagos and Abuja. Please block the wastage of funds and risk and don't listen to the selfish politicians.

  9. Tinubu will try his best to save this country, and you can see that by the ministers he appointed. Minister of interior first now minister of aviation.👍
