What does it mean "producing a litre over #1,000"?
What's the cost of crude, what's the refining margin? What's the crude yield for PMS?
What's the value of the other derivatives of refining?
How was his investigation conducted? What's his benchmark or control for the investigation?
Analyst.
You call yourself investigator but you can't answer the questions put to you, dangote petrol should cost far lower than imported petrol. Why is that his diesel even though the crude was also imported is selling far below imported one? There's a time when imported diesel is selling at N1500 and dangote diesel is N900, why is the petrol different?
Excellent, simple questions from the @News Central TV host🤩. Unfortunately, CSO investigative journalist Lemmy Ughegbe was "weirdly" disappointing and evasive. 8:48
"Simple answer, is it regulated or deregulated?"
"It was pseudo… now there's attempt…." 😅
I'd give Lemmy one last chance to talk sense (Sorry).
THEY'RE GOING TO MAKE MONEY 🤑💰💰💰💰🤑🤑💰💰💰 OFF THE PEOPLE IT WAS ALL ABOUT REPOVERTING THE FULANIGERIA PEOPLE.
Where is Dangote getting crude oil from? This man is talking without explaining where he got his cost computation. His investigation includes the source of crude oil? The same fuel marketers were complaining only recently through a letter to the Minister of Petroleum that Dangote was pricing too low, that he must raise his price.
Why does the story of NNPC and the marketers keep changing?
Nonsense . I’ve not learnt anything from this long talk. Just burnt my phone data .
The elephant in the room which no Analyst wants to address is what is the price of our crude Oil and who owns Nigerian crude Oil. Obviously if the crude were ours, we would sell very to cheaply Dangote then his output too can be cheap. But if we don’t have crude to give him which is funny because we are Africa‘s largest Oil producer then Dangote must buy expensive crude that will make our Petrol expensive. So the ball is in Nigeria government court. If the Nigeria government want cheaper Petrol for Nigeria then it should direct cheaper crude to Dangote refinery . If it can’t do so it should tell Nigerians who actually owns our Oil so we know who the enemy is!
Great video. Objective and well researched. The fuel price situation just further shows how poorly done these economic reforms have been under APC. They are necessary but they came too late. GEJ was trying to remove subsidies and deregulate the industry until APC backlash stopped him. I also understand why Dangote priced his fuel at that level because production is not cheap and the free trade zone issue is also there. This is all largely the APC government fault and NNPC incompetence and corruption. The only way i can see this problem ending is with more private refinery companies a d ending NNPC, especially after seeing how they have many refineries but all are not working.
