  1. Useless set of people that doesn't have any integrity in Nigeria again. If revolution want to start,NLC and TUC can never be allowed to lead. The leadership of both pressure groups have compromised. And the day of reckoning is very near.

  2. It is has become obvious that the NLC/TUC have not single interest about the well being of all Nigerians but their members. The leaders of these two union read the newspaper, listen to knew and presentation by government official and efforts being made to address the issues on the ground. If they were so efficient and effective some the problems the country is facing today will not be there. Even when the see the efforts being made by all arms of the government including the state they still give the ultimatum to the FG. There are millions of Nigerians that are not working and therefore do not belong to any Union, don't they also deserve the attention of the Government? The policies the government has instituted are made to provide solutions to decades of economic problems that have been facing the country. The president had an audience with the World bank today who promise to assist the country to get out of the current situation, the same day this meeting taking place the two unions is given the FG 14-day ultimatum over dire economic hardship, how ignorant and senseless can that be? Regardless of whether or not the Government has not kept to agreement made, do they ask why as opposed to embarrassing themselves before official of the world bank and detracting then masses on their expectation from the government. The Senate recently summoned the economic team for an update on what is going in the country, it appears as far the the Union leaders are concern the presentation meant nothing to them or they are not knowledgeable enough or just adamant to comprehend what the discussion was all about. May be the Government should allow these unions go on strike for some time and lets see how that benefit the workers the citizens. Sensible union do not strike when there are economic set back in the country. The union must remember at all times that the Government is the employer regardless of the constitutional provision that all union activities in the country and there a re laws in place that guide the relationship.
