Nile River Cruise (Aswan to Luxor) – All you need to know

Ep 47 This is not something that we thought we’d ever say, but… you have to take a Nile Cruise! We’ve never spent time on a cruise ship before this, but the sheer number of tours and experiences that we managed to fit into four days was incredible.

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND our guide: MAHMOUD NOUR: +20 102 6979554 (let him know we recommended…

  1. I was cruise to what cruise ship you were waiting because it looked amazing . I went to the website and saw several cruise ships just wanted to get your input of which one you were on and if also you booked the luxury or just 5 star cruise ship

  2. My family and I are getting closer to leaving. It's so funny, I sat with my niece and nephew, two of my fellow travelers. They were taken aback by this video. My niece chuckled… "This is us." I hope that our tour guide is as impressive as yours. I'm getting excited fellow travelers! Thank you for this video.

  3. Of course Judy should go with you to the dance floor! You are travellers and seekers, who live exciting life. You shouldn't be afraid of a little belly dance! 😂😂❤ Gogo adventurers!

  4. Hello! Thank you for your helpful video! We are planning a to trip to Egypt his June and would like to do a Nile Cruise. However, the amount of ships and companies is making this daunting! How did you decide on which cruise to take? Do you know if there are any ones that I should stay away from? Thank you in advance for any help you can give me! Ron

  6. I was in Egypt for 3 weeks in September 2010. I also took a cruise on the Nile, but one way only from Luxor to Aswan. The main difference in my cruise was that it was on a Dahabiya, a small sailboat that had only 6 cabins and a suite, the wind permitted to sail only one day, the rest of the time, we where pulled by a small tugboat. The only motors we heard where small generators a few hours each day to charge batteries for the AC in our cabins. On my cruise, we where only 6 passengers, a couple, two sister and the daughter of one. I was alone. For the excursions on the different sites, the other passengers had all been in Egypt before, so they didn't took the guided tour, I was alone whit the guide, he would start by showing me around and give the explanations on everything and then wait for me near the entrance taking a coffee while I took all the pictures that I wanted.

Since it was a smaller boat, we didn't stop at the standard spot where all the bigger boats where stacked one against the other, the staff chose beautiful spots where we where alone, we even had a picnic on a small island one night. If you ever go back on the Nile, I strongly suggest that type of cruise.

You can check some of the pictures I took on the cruise https://flic.kr/p/98vqo3

I want to tell you that in Islam alcohol is forbidden

It is forbidden for a Muslim to sell it, offer it, or even carry it

And I want to tell you that this act does not represent 95% of Muslims in Egypt

Regarding the dancer, these people are mostly not Egyptian women, and very few of them are Egyptian women, and they are the closest thing to prostitutes without intercourse. We in Egypt do not respect them, and this is also forbidden in Islam.

Most of them are not from Egypt. You will find many from the countries of the old Soviet Union and Eastern Europe

I wanted to tell you that they do these things because they say that foreign tourists want this

Most of the people of Egypt disagree with them and tell them that whoever comes to visit Egypt wants to feel the Egyptian history and culture. It is not a condition for his visit to drink alcohol in public places. If he brings his own wine and drinks it in his room or the house he rents, that is his business.

But it should not be presented in public.

Do you agree with me that if alcohol was banned in public places, then you, as foreigners, would feel some problem in this matter?! .. I am waiting for your answer

  10. نورتم مصر ..♥♥🎉🎉

I don't know how to translate it, but the closest meaning is that you honored us with your visit to our country, Egypt. I hope you will visit us after Egypt gets rid of dictatorship.

I suggest that you read the Holy Quran, as it is a very important part of the religion of 95% of the people of Egypt and the countries of the entire Middle East

It also has all the prophets: Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, son of Mary, and Muhammad, the seal of the prophets and messengers.

As you have the Old Testament and the New Testament, there is a final era called the Holy Quran.. I strongly advise you to read the Holy Quran
    As an Egyptian Muslim

I enjoy seeing my country through your eyes..welcome

  11. I going to egypt as solo your video gave me lots of idea how to get to places. I love take my time do my own things not rush but I will do my cruise just like you did. Can I ask Do I have to book the cruise before on online or able to buy when I get to Aswan?

  12. All the things you're talked about here, are the reasons I didn't want to go on a cruise. Being a bit of an introvert, the idea of dining with a group of strangers is not my idea of a good time. I also don't want to be part of a large group; having to travel with and meet the time constraints of being with a group. Philae is so beautiful, I could spend the bigger part of a day there. We had a driver and guide to travel to Abu Simbel. Seeing the desert; along the way; and the fantastic rock formations was very interesting. At Abu Simbel, it was very crowded, with cruise ship passengers. Our guide said to just be patient and they will leave and you will have it to yourself, which is exactly what happened. We visited Egypt during a hotter time of year and many times, we were the only people in the temples. I can't imagine being at Edfu, with that kind of crowd. That's like Disney World. FYI; it's pronounced Hat chep suit.

  13. I know this is pretty late to argue, but I have been wondering of the reason behind the government attitude in making foreigners pay twice, thrice, and in your case with the train tickets, 4 folds the cost of the original tickets we Egyptians pay for. I have been noticing that through all youtubers' videos when it comes to deal with the government, such as trains' tickets, museums' tickets, etc.. This is a double-standard approach.

  14. I like the music 🎶 in the video، , it reminds me of old egyprian ipera music . Im happy you got different experience away from the capital . Hope also you will make one of the grand egyprian museum and other cities and hope if you come to cairo can see rhe whale valley douth of cairo as well.

  15. We'll be going there around the end of November. What time did your 4th day tour end? We plan to catch a flight to Jordan on our 4th day. The flight departs after 7pm. Do you think we'll be able to make it to Luxor airport after the last day of the included tour?

  16. Can you tell me the name of your ship please 🙏 , you said MS nile style but , whats the name off the ship , im on the online page but on the Ms category is the Movenpick the Acamar the Farah the Mayfair and others if you can tell me the exact name please
