This is about a slum but so much more than that. Because when you hear “slum” you think miserable people living miserable lives. But no. Not in Makoko. There’s a sense of something else: happiness? Yes. I do believe so. Not that they don’t want or need more. They do. But still – the sense of community glows above and beyond the poverty. Beautifully shot documentary by Turkish doc filmmakers.
After watching this ,now I feel blessed 🙌 to live in South Africa 🇿🇦
And South Africans are busy complaining about life in South Africa, we don't know how blessed we are, life is hard but it could be worse

The daughter Sarah is such a dignified and wise young woman, We should celebrate one's passing this way in NA if one has not passed away in disgrace, if they were loved by the community and were a fun jovial person, why not do as she said; celebrate the last day you will have with their body on earth and celebrate their life?
