The prices are already high, this won't really push up inflation, it'll only ensure that goods wasting away on shelves and in warehouses can be bought and there'll be better circulation of money among the masses.
I think this mad man economics in display. The nigerian government should pay out this monies and encourage trading.
Gen z of this country better set your differences aside and hit the road just like kenya, or else there will never be a future for you plain and simply, they have not done anything meaningful they have started planning for the next election.
Money used in setting up the office of the presidents wife, which is not recognised by the constitution didnt bring inflation, its left for the youth of this country who has no whare else, to hit the street just like in kenya, or else you will all grow old in poverty n die in total poverty.
Check out the cost of governance….. Presidency, National Assembly, State governments….. And compare it to the wage bill………. Just half the cost of governance can pay the wage bill
Well the viewers are your customers so technically you're very correct. 😂😂
This argument is absurd.
If they cared about inflation, they wouldn't have removed fuel subsidy, floated the naira and increased electricity tariff etc. Pay workers a living wage. That's a moral duty of government.
Dieris God ooooooo!
To promote minimum wage or increase salaries of workers becomes a sword with two edges. Naira to a dollar this evening with the parallel markets ids said to hit 1500 Naira. The prices of food stuffs remains astronomical, house rents ready to jump overboard . Sanwo-olu is trying his best to improve transportations for all workers and the Army chief of staff with his police brethren are having sleepless nights to rein in Boko Haram,Banditry and kidnappings. The Herds men refused to stay in one place and tend their cows .Where are the revenues to cushion the effects runaway salaries increase ? Like I said, Tinubu is a magician and he is ready to pull out the white rabbit out of the black cap!!! Poor him , he never saw this coming . All he wanted to do was to undo the effortless takeover of Nigeria government unlike late chief Obafemi Awolowo and Abiola of memories. Solutions? Get a baseline wages with a two to four percentage increase yearly untill the economy stabilizes, but the union bosses must be carried along with the honest of purposes . Goodluck oo President Tinubu .We all share your pains since you said you shared in our pains too.No magic wand to resuscitate the comatose economy for now , just let the baby sleep for another year !!!!
Not just inflation ..it will make naira fall..just expect N5000 to $1 or more
Government buying yacht and SUVs for 469 house members won't increase inflation, but only when the that concern masses is increased, make una continue
This Government should just stop unnecessary and wasteful spending, and stop making things difficult for the citizens.
But the politicians packages don't !
