All the figures don’t matter for Nigeria except for the forex exchange rate, the Naira is falling slowly to around N 1,600 to 1 USD which means there are lack of foreign exchange in the market and all the sells from oil are corrupted away by leadership. So Tinubu and his regime needs to go!
GDP growth….when over 20mill are in serious poverty…hunger is killing children….
You want gas to bring more money but you dupport russia and niger stopping nigeria gas pipelines to supply Europe gas.
All point is valid. Dr abati made one strong point. The head is not good so the body does anyhow. Wen d head is good den the body MUST then do well whether by hook or by crook
Rufai Oseni is so sad about this news 😢
Otomorkpo voodoo economy, tahh! na lie lie economics… If there is any iota of improvement, you and I will feel it and say it, not some NBS doctored data analysis.
Oil, oil, oil meanwhile its contribution to our GDP is less than 10% … about time we turn away from this cursed and mismanaged resource!
But the economy halved. How would an economy that has halved have grown by 3 percent.
Economy grew in the politicians pockets, i bought petrol today @1,000 naira per litre and a loaf of bread that used to cost 300 naira in 2017 for 1,600 naira, Voodoo economy, set awon werey
Nigerian students do not want loans.
Nigerian students need grants!
The Nigerian economy grew for whom?
The economic numbers mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to the majority of Nigerians because the situation is getting worse on a daily basis for the people in this country.
What we are seeing are the results of the Tinubu's administration short term meaures which are targeted at macro-economic stability. It is the long term solutions that will eventually turn things around and the long term solutions in Power, Agriculture, infrastructure, industries, transportation will take on the average five years before their effects can be felt by the average Nigerian.
Rufai there is non of your concern that is not already in president Tinubu's economic focus. The Solid mineral minister briefed the country on the progress made in his area not too long ago. As for Livestock poor performance, I believe Nigerians who were criticizing the president for starting a ministry to focus on that industry about a month ago we know see the need and reason for it. As the analyst has pointed out the states are the ones that need to wake up and start performing. The economy is not doing well as expected but Nigerians should play their role also. Too much is expected of this government that has only done fourteen months out of the the expected four years. The private sector has a role to play in the GDP of a nation.
If I heard that economic growth,it pains me, because it don't show any impact on the ordinary citizens
APC politicians and bandits bank account grew by 5000% while the citizens bank accounts reduced by 300%. Thats what the government is celebrating about the "gdp growth" 😂
It's unfortunate the state Nigeria finds herself due to corruption and clueless, visionless leaders.l think Charles soludo and mrs lwela should be the next president and vice president of Nigeria.Nigeria can not have great minds and economist yet we a led by people that can not provide us with their primary education. How then do we expect the economy to grow? How then do we expect them to take education seriously?Only in Nigeria are phd holders serving people that dont even have a primary certificate due to corruption and money politics.Nothing is done with the interest of the nation but greed.A system where government is basically throwing policies at the wall, let see which one sticks, insha allah!Federal government has to tie allocation to states to some developmental projects, infrastructures and socio economic development. Federal has to tie allocation to to farmings, education, healthcare, roads and salaries. That is the only way these governors will start working. The governors are basically in a socialist mindset, why would they stress themselves and work when money will always come to them either they perform or not? There has to be something in the allocation that demands/motivate the governors to do certain things or else federal government would do those things directly in that state with the allocations. That is when you will these governor running about and active.Thank you.
So why are Ibo students excluded from Nigerian student loans distribution? Or is that not news worthy? Where are the so-called Ibo representatives in the Nigerian government?
Are they going to alert the UN High Commission on Human Rights or not?
Thank you Lord… Rotus is not at the Morning Show this week. His sight makes me sick… Rotus, please do not come back to MORNING SHOW anymore…
Mr. President should source for experts to run our economy; not politicians. Emmanuel Atuchukwu
Why does everything revolve around oil? What's happening to our solid minerals? Emmanuel Atuchukwu
