There is nothing pan Africanism about the incompetent Malian's appointment. Tribalism cannot be equated with Pan-Africanism and tribalists can't be Pan-Africanists. Emmanuel Amunike is supposed to be the next Super Eagles coach after Eguavon. But just like Nigeria's Presidency, the anti-Igbo forces in Nigeria will rather see any less competent person from anywhere, even a camel to lead Nigeria in certain positions than see an Igbo person lead Nigeria to glory.
