Nigerian Jollof Rice #shorts 🌾
No recipe for this one, just yet as it still not quite right.
I think there’s just a little bit too much liquid so it’s making the rice go sticky.

Nvm my last comment. You did good. Idk why it seems soggy though.
Maybe some more rice then a bit of stock(chicken preferably) or water. If you check YouTube videos made by Nigerians. When they’re adding the rice to the sauce you’ll see what I’m talking about.
Regardless you did much better than me. My first time I had boiled the rice before hand. So I ended up making a porridge.
Yay!!!!🎉
You're not cooking the food well
Oh Andy, I’m so hurt…
it really brings me joy as a nigerian that even a white man is willing to do everything he can to learn how to cook our food
you are respected 🫡
Nigerians, did he get it right or not?
Blender is a magimix they go for around $400 to $500. I think he has the auto chef one, which goes for around $2000 though
Ghana has the best jollof
Where's the garlic?
That is the fanciest blender I've ever seen
He looks upset.
There's a reason why internet is not available in many countries who have no sense to talk to anyone
You did good but the butter was unnecessary, Also pro tip use chicken stock for half the amount of water you’d normally use and make sure the chicken stock is freshly made.
Okay first of all before you blend the peppers and onions roast them. Then add meat broth to it so the rice can cook longer and be soft and some people roast the rice so it can fluffy just a bit oh. Some even add coconut milk😊😊😊
Im liking every comment today so you're lucky ❤❤❤ and the man I love you're cooking ❤❤❤
Glad you rinse a lot of the starch off. 👍🏽
Who fed bro jollof rice
Nice one sir
Andy you didn’t get it wrong, you did it your own way your own style. There is no right and wrong in cooking, only what tastes good to you and what is fun for you to cook.
Well made man
