Nigerian (Enugu) Street Food Tour || Abacha & Okpa

Hey guys, so while I was visiting my family in Enugu, I decided to show you some of my favourite street foods growing up in Enugu.

If you have never visited the Eastern part of Nigeria, these are just a couple street foods you should try if you get the chance.

Watch and see what these foods look like!

Are you team Okpa or team Abacha?…

  1. Funny story, I had the African salad for the first time last Thanksgiving and besides arguing about the name, it being a specifically eastern Nigerian dish not Africa as a whole, I didn't particularly care for it. I was assured it wasn't prepared right so my mission is to taste a correctly prepared version!! Thanks for taking us along.
ETA: Yours looks so much better than what we had.

  2. Very unhygienic, she used her fingers as a chopping board. If she had an abscess or a cut on her finger all that would be in the cold salad. A recipe for a terrible food poison. I wouldn't eat it.

  3. I am from Anambra state, and while I was growing up I did eat a lot of abacha, and still remember this meal. However, I don't remember okpa and if I do only vaguely. Thanks for refreshing my memory.

  4. Bullshit eat lots of ice cream, fast food , unhealthy snacks, greasy food and you realize it possible to gain weight in a day .I was once decieved by this saying and I ate uncontrollably in one day and I gained 1 kg

  5. I miss miss Enugu. going some time in October. Ha! Okpa, I can't even manage and eat that one any other place. I went to UNN and this (okpa) saved our lives no joke🙍
