I love yuor way of saying it they Don’t pay our bills our rent ect ect
I know i paid for my boyfriends uncle's funeral ! Big money …….
I agree with you, in America we grieve help the family with money and food, it’s a sad time, God forbid we make it into a party, May the dead sleep peacefully 💐💐💐
Learn to say NOOOO. These African traditions are killing us man. And the dishonesty and entitlement of our people is insane.
You are a star young man!
This is real talk brother. Someone even said I couldn't dig the grave for my grandmother. And during the burial they spent more than a million naira. Main while I was in university
This is one of the most Relevant things in my life right now. My father died in February he has had 2 funerals one in Mississippi and one in Maryland where he is laid 2 rest. Now my Uncle calls the family and asks for 750,000 Naira for ceremonial burial in Nigeria which we wouldn’t even be able to attend because of COVID-19 and travel restrictions.I don’t understand why there is all this pressure 2 do the ceremony now when he is already buried here in America? It just doesn’t make sense. There is no way I’ll send that money ever. My father did so much for family back home in Nigeria even to his own demise and they still try 2 take more after he’s gone.🤦🏾♂️
You are the best and have been binge watching you for 3 days now since I discovered your channel, love love your contents which has all my 3 Es, Educational, Emotional and Entertaining! Your new sub, Ugandan been living in US for 20 yrs, came with my parents n all siblings at 19, so a lot of these stories resonate with me and boy do I have a few of my own that maybe one day will send to you.
This is the sweet truth, not bitter truth. We spend money that we do not have on burials and ceremonies. It explains why we are where we are as a continent. Keeping speaking the truth. Well done.
They call it "befitting burial". Ah! Our peopleeeeee
I laugh so much.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Phrankleen yesss…dead men tells no tales, give your family members love and appreciation when they're alive…
Think about how special you'll feel being invited to a small wedding. It's more exclusive, more intimate.
I love this Phrankleen. My mom already told me if she goes before me “just bury me simple and tek di rest of di money and look after yourself.” . She hates OTT funerals where the coffin cost more than the house you own. Also these horse-drawn carriages, she said she never sit in one all her life so does she need one in death?🤷🏾♀️
I love ❤️ ya brother you speak my mind. I love it when ya speak it point blank even in Yoruba! Hehehe
bless you
My bro I need your number or email I need to congratulate you for educating me on social life. Thank U so much.
Phrankleen: If only people would listen to such sound counsel and take heed. May those with ears hear!
They will say they are giving the dead befitting burial
I like the way you talk about everything . You are the best and is high time we Africans , most especially Nigerians
do away with all of this.
You see me
I have no problems in saying NOOO OOO and then instant block
People really think abroad peeps have a lot of money..lol. There are many people here in naija doing way better than most Nigerians abroad.
@Franklin: I fEEl same way my brother! we need to turn away from the Foolishness we practice in the name of Culture!👍🏽✅
True talk…Emotional manipulation and abuse let them keep the body that's their problem kobo oni ri lo wo mi…Madness.
…If you can't sponsor your own wedding DON'T GET MARRIED 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🧘🏿♂️
