Nigeria We Hail Thee” was adopted as Nigeria’s first national anthem on October 1, 1960. Lyrics were written by Lillian Jean Williams and composed by Frances Berda. Enjoy a beautiful rendition by Iyeufedo as we continue to hope for a better Nigeria.

  1. Should have figured all this ANOINTED MUSIC is coming from Nigeria!!! Wish we could all have you for a visit in the United States.. there is a lot of LIGHT and LIFE in so many Nigerians I have met on line.. I'm gonna have a chip on my shoulder for not being born there!!! Love to sing, was named after a nun and though life tried to boil her, and do her in, she kept on singing through all the trails. I'm going to send any depressed American's I know here, there are a lot of DEEP spiritual mysteries happening on this youtube channel. So blessed to find it, Ceci

  2. This is absolutely heart melting,
Listening with eyes filled with tears, with so much I wanna say but,
God Bless Akwa Abasi Ibom State,
Her People and Give a leader with the heart of Love for humanity that we won't have reasons to go elsewhere and be leaving like slaves in other to survive. Amen😢

  3. Its beautiful.❤❤❤❤❤
But who is going to organise assembly ground for us every morning to learn this song now? Because we learned the old one on assembly ground in primary school before we sing "the day is bright oh bright and fair……. Mama jollof rice!" 😂

  4. It’s a great National Anthem but we really don’t need it at the moment, they should have composed the new National Anthem, rather than go back to what the British Colonial master handed over to us at the Independence Day, we need buoyant economy and monumental developments
