  1. We are so divided in this country that when analyse and speak truth to wro g government policies paid idiots that are even the most affected by lame policies or I'll thought out policies come online to troll you as opposition to goverment, unfortunately if goverment policies fail, it effects all of us

  2. It could be used to Stimulate our Motor Industry (Innoson,Nord etc) to produce more, Construction Industry by encoraging people to build their homes. This would help at lest both the Consumers and the Producers in these two Made in Nigeria Sectors.

  3. Nigerian manufacturer can engage their foreign counterpart in Germany or USA to turn our industrial complex into assembly plant major Hub in the interim. The koreans can supply us with the parts for samsung TV, fridge ,freezer, car, phones ,gas cookers and Laptops. Same applies for every gadget and the cost of production will reduce by half or arround 1/3 reduction. This can stimulate growths in two ways: the returns of our manufacturing complex and at the same time promoting consumer spendings. Even though the trust deficit on this govt is very high, all time high, the punchline of this consumer credit system is to eliminate corruption. If i still remain in this strangulating economy, i will support consumer credit system 100%, with my full chest. If it failed, the legislature are there to use there instruments to address it. Make we start first jaree.

  4. Anchor borrower scheme is a typical example of producer credit scheme. What was the outcome. Alaje or what his name should sit down with his propensity for delusional fear. As excellent as Alaje can be on many of his analyst, i strongly defer on this.

  5. I am not sure why the guest is confusing Consumer credit with manufacturing . Consumer credit system allows consumers to borrow money or incur debt, and to defer repayment of that money over time. Having credit enables Consumers to buy goods or assets without having to pay for them in cash at the time of purchase. I am not sure where the issue of where the product is going to come from is an issue here. Credit does not have to be used in purchasing goods alone, it also covers services that are billed to the consumers. The banks already issue credit cards in the country which are billed over a time period when used. For example if you go to a mechanic shop that accepts credit card for service your car will be repaired and your credit card billed. I am sorry the argument that the guest is presenting does not hold when it comes to Consumer credit scheme. The credit system does not dictate where credit should be sought, it s up to the subscriber of the credit system to make that decision. Consumer credit covers different kinds of credit agreement, including credit cards, personal loans and hire purchase. It sets rules around the information creditors need to provide, how to withdraw from a credit agreement and more. There is a lot more involved in a Consumer Credit scheme than just purchasing or taking a loans, consumer protection laws come along with the program. While the economic factors cited by the guest are necessary, they do not have necessarily impact consumer credit. For example when you take a personal loan which is consider a consumer item, you do not need electricity for that. Workers would subscribe to the use of credit in other to keep cash at hand or for other investment purposes. Already there are goods and services in the country that cannot be afforded by the consumers and that is where the Consumer Credit Scheme is going to fit in. People who are not already manufacturing are not going to go into manufacturing because there is a consumer credit system in place. The use of credit provides convenience to the consumers to have access to purchasing goods and services that are not normally possible.

  6. Producer and manufacturer credit scheme is idea for now not consumer credit. Nigerians are not mature in consumer credit yet. The data and infrastructure is not there as at now.

  7. There's nothing the government does that is correct to them. As if they are more intelligent than the rest of the populace. They don't really love Nigeria! All they want is that their candidate should rule. They think a country can succeed in one tenure.

  8. Nigeria with all the dishonesty, will people be willing to pay back the credit, won't they abscond, change names, places of work and all what have you. Credit work overseas because people over there are honest, will not take what does not belong to them. Now , contrast that with Nigeria, where corruption stinks to the high heavens and dishonesty is considered normal

  9. This man analyst is very good he's making scence..we not spend our money on foreign company, if we need to grow we have to spend our money to our own local prudence items
