Bringing my 2 daughters and 1 son-in-law to naija in January. Visa for them was 334 dollars each. Just crazy! They must sort this out. There's money to be made if we are clever. People will keep going to the the Caribbeans instead
Govt can start with the airports and the crooks working in all the agencies who need retraining, govt can ensure there is 24/7 electricity, govt can ensure the cities and towns are secure, the reality is most of the tourists in Nigeria are the Nigerian diaspora, yet you makes visa difficult and expensive to get. Bottom line is there is a lot of things the govt can do….
Arise News alone demarkets Nigeria like no other on a regular basis, all for cheap popularity and to pursue their ethnic and political agenda, and they turn round and talk about promoting tourism and ask what the government is doing? And Nigerians, please, let's stop with this stupid comments like somewhere being so nice you won't believe that you're in Nigeria. What does that even mean?
I've always had an aversion for gunrunners who sell guns in countries where there is civil war. In reality, economic opportunism is just as bad, and it passes unnoticed in countries where the ruling elite have lost their moral compass. Economic opportunists are not different from gunrunners.
Tourism or terrorism. I think we have a comparative advantage in the later.😂
Nigeria has a big capital in tourism market in Africa and the world but the problem is kidnapping and robbery and corruption. Security plays major roles in touristsm .I don't think for now Nigeria is ready unless may be in the future.
When talking of Nigeria , Lagos state is just one of all the states in Nigeria .
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I concur with Dr. Abati's assertion that Nigerians have consistently demonstrated remarkable resilience and resourcefulness in the face of adversity. Unfortunately, this hardship is often a direct result of poor governance and corruption.
Despite the current economic challenges in Nigeria, people still crave enjoyable experiences. It's an inherent aspect of human nature to seek pleasure and entertainment. Interestingly, many Nigerians are willing to invest in leisure activities, regardless of their economic status.
May God bless Nigeria and keep safe the brave men and women serving in our security forces.
Please get real! Tourism for foreigners when Nigerian citizens are being kidnapped left and right for ransom? Some of you are out of your minds. SMH.
Africans celebrating Eurasian holidays have to be the highest level of absurdity 😂😂
A NIGERIAN HAS JUST BEEN KILLED IN SOUTH AFRICA
😂😂😂CORRUPTION IS THE MAJOR PROBLEM IN A NIGERIA..
The gentleman speaks my mind in many ways…
Tourism engagement has to be intentional. There's a lot of room for honest PPP. The Governments role is massive and clear… and it cannot be substituted
