Thanks for the information. My Nigerian passport expired 2 years ago. Can I renew it at the Nigerian High Commission in London? Also, how long do I have to renew my passport after it expires? I understand that if a passport is expired, you have 5 years from the date of expiration to renew it without going through the new passport procedure. Is this information correct?

Yes, he damaged the cars which of course it might seem to be unacceptable but his actions have definitely brought to lime light the incompetence in most of the Nigeria High Commission and the pain & frustration they put their people through on matters regarding their rights as citizens. Do you have an idea of many Nigerians who just never voiced out their pains and even when they do, nothing is corrected. So, personal if he never did, the world wouldn't be aware of the happenings in most of sh*t hole Embassy. I support his actions 100%, that was the only way out. He simply moved from words to ACTION and now things will change.
Who ever say what Jeffrey did is wrong,my prayer to you is to experience the ugly side of Nigerian embassy, if you complain you will never see tomorrow.
He should sue them for displaying his identity to the public with total disregard. I don't blame the guy for what he did. Nigeria passport office can frustrate the hell out of you. They are completely unprofessional. Everyone of them think they own the play.
Nigeria is being governed by animals. Useless from the top downwards, all they do is wear yeye agbada up and down and make noise with convoy. What do you expect when the so called leaders have no meaningful education, no leadership experience from private or public office. People just come with money, go under corrupt parties, get elected by gullible citizens and they have one yeye leaders. Very flaw way of appointing leaders! Hence why everything is just upside down. The public servants forget they are there to serve the people, rather they demand that the people serve them.

The embassy in New York is a disgrace, you go in there and feel like you are in Ajegunle, they are disrespectful to people and you spend a whole day to pick up a passport that you submitted the application for 4 months earlier. Just a useless place entirely.

Every time they do not have passport booklets. Why can't they print enough copies.Or they hide these booklets to extort money from people . This is very shameful. Buhari should recall the ambassador because he or she is incompetent.

I have been waiting for this to happen. I have been going to the embassy in London several times. It makes me feel that Nigeria will never change. Those guys working there have no civility at all. They talk to you anyhow and treat people like animals. GDPR forbid them exposing personal data irrespective of the issue
