Nigeria Can Generate $250 – $370bn Annually from the Agro Value Chain – Obiaraeri

Like Michael Okpara did in the eastern region, Nigeria today must focus on farm clusters for the agro value chain and stop the insanity of focusing on Abuja. The Federal government owns no lands, the governors and LGA chairmen do and they need to allow the private sector come in with a structure and design to boost agricultural revenue in…

@williamsaharuna1893

They will only make people that will use ministry of agriculture money to build mousque, ministers.

Its so annoying that we have great minds, and yet remain poor.

@williamsaharuna1893

This is all i have said time without numbers… Impressive and great to know this is being discussed at a national level.❤❤❤

@SoulQuestMotivation

@arise news How can I connect with this man to replicate this in my ward.

@barrymascot8179

After listening to this man, you'd ask, why is he not anywhere near the government that pretend to care for the people? Then again, you found out that he has been screaming like this for years but nobody cares to listen.

@ayobamishaibu6904

Instead of making these kind of people ministers, they will be choosing those whose WAEC certificate can't be verified. God, please save Nigeria. This is really spiritual problem o

Omo, I am very impressed with this brother's agricultural analysis, it's gains,it's employment benefits and it's peaceful environments across the country. May the almighty Allah bless you, brother.

@belinda510

I have taught about this since i was in primary school.So much land are wasted.Please its a brilliant idea.This man is wise.

@ElemAndrew-b9q

These are parts of what His Excellency Letter Obi was telling Nigerian particularly Niger State but they ignored it . And appoint hardship

@ChristopherOSAWARU

Those in government in Nigeria are dumbs. Imaging this revelations and what we're doing to ourselves.

@edwardokpoamah6037

Erei farm

Our Governors in the East is just lazy
Taking people's land and selling it to their cohort

@ifeanyitimothy6938

I commend this guest Dr. Nna Emeka Obiaerieri, for this insightful and eye-opening interview:
please, I would like to have his contact information for possible synergy and further consultation

@ledacinnbiodigester

Tinubu, this is your Minister of Agriculture but based on who you are, I challenge you to make that call…No, you can't

@tundeadagun

You could not get 1 LG/SG of 100 to buy into your idea not even your own? There is a disconnect. Look ar barth nnaji did. Clear concept, put his money where his mouth is, bought the land and partnered the govs

@collinscci7553

@Arisenews, how do i contact this my brother, your guest?

@ugowilliams8437

Dr Obiaraeri has been saying the right things in the media to spur our national economic development. But the government officials hear him and look the other way because all they care about is looting our Treasury. None of them ever cares to invite this guy and other development economists to jumpstart and accelerate Nigeria's economic development. Wicked, kleptomaniac politicians with empty brains. How I wish that Peter Obi was allowed to transform this country with his Economic blueprint to transition Nigeria from CONSUMPTION to PRODUCTION.

@stainlesssmart139

A WiseMan from the EAST. We move…!

@stainlesssmart139

A Befitting and BeautiFul Edifice, Structure/ Infrastructure should be built and named after Micheal Okpara… It maybe an Airport, World Class Hospital or its likes…..that worths its name.

@TabsT-vy5jy

He is wasting his enthusiasm. Nigeria is dead. There is no hope and there will be famine and war.

@alabasofowora657

But if in the south east you are generating billions like that in the east, it is then the northerners will want the money generated pass through Abuja/north. So it is important to have self government. N

@alabasofowora657

Where are this thiefs in government.

@alabasofowora657

We need regional government. Nothing more.

@alabasofowora657

All what this guy is saying good way out, but all this thiefs, day rubbery in government have lost their sense in making progress rather they plan how to steal. Why don't we just swear in this guy as a governor without election. Thiefs in government are more than optimistic Nigerians. Every day we talk where are this deaf rollers. Thiefs.

@doctimothy

This guy broke it down clearly… When people complain of hunger, they should take a strong look at their governors.. Lands are lying fallow without any agricultural activities going on on them..

@mysoftedgeng5773

Please, how can I get this man's phone number?

@EzoyiliJude-ro2ih

Always, thought provoking and very articulate analysis!

@tescobar2001

LET US PUT PRESSURE ON THE LOCAL & STATE GOVTS TO DO WHAT DR.OBIARAIRE IS TALKING ON AGRICULTURE. TINUBU HAS FOUGHT FOR LOCAL GOVT AND HE RELEASED THE AMOUNT OF ALLOCATIONS GOING TO THE STATE EVERY MONTH. TINUBU IS NOT OUR PROBLEMS.

@henchilamcokej

Michael Okpala established many farm settlements throughout entire eastern region. In Anambra State, Igbariam donated 100s of hectares of land, By the way, we should all be grateful for that great town Igbariam, they are always happy to donate land for overriding Igbos public interests. Also, first to donate land to early missionaries to establish first seminary and nonseminary schools that laid foundation for the robust take-off of western education in the eastern region, donated land for establishment of Anambra State University, currently Odimegwu Ojukwu University, and so many more, including donating to private businesses that want to set up big projects for special needs of the Igbos, such as Ekene dili Chukwu rice farms Igbariam, Cosharis rice farms Igbariam and so on

@chimaezeamama8926

When Nigeria bring in expertise from the areas where it was domiciled just like Obasanjo did.. We are going nowhere.. Buhari /Tinubu kept their ethnic stuff and hence Nigeria keep nosediving

@onimisimayaki8980

This man has been talking for years. Is it that these governors are deaf or they don't just want to work?

@CONTINUOUSVICTORY

Stealing oil money and stealing borrowed money has blocked the brain and conscience of our leaders , what a shame.

@eonyeka7393

Dr. I would suggest you share your brilliant ideas with our neighbours in Burkina Faso, Niger and Mali.
