  1. Instead of judging it is "Islam" or "Africa" I have negative view about being french colonies. British built great cities and great economic development but with the french I never heard any place such as Hongkong or Singapore, even in their rich colonies such as New Caledonia, Grenada. Only ugly old buildings. Any idea why? Did they steal a lot money for infrastructure?

  3. Although you're right about the stats but based on stats one wouldn't want to go anywhere. One thing I know is that Africa is big, diverse and complex. One country has multiple cultures, languages, vegetation and climate also different life style.
