  1. Exactly, we already have a public healthcare system which is, for the most part, funded by the wealthiest via tax (who then go and pay for private medical aid and don’t use these public services). These public services (roads, infrastructure, and schools included) are in such a state that even those who can barely afford it are spending extra on medical aid (and private schools, etc.) in favor of other necessities (like food) and non-necessities (like every going on holiday) to ensure their and their loved ones well-being. So why would this new money now go to the poorest when none of the current tax is? I’m guessing this is more of a campaign for the elections than anything else. If anything, they should be taken to court for not providing the healthcare as enshrined by the constitution, not signing bills to re-appropriate the funds from elsewhere to still not achieve that aim… scary part is the murders of those who speak out against corrupt officials, so, I better not say much more.

  2. Most public hospitals have private doctors working there. Do they then become incompetent when they have to deliver service at public hospitals? My private doctor advised me to go to public hospital where he was attending me. Medicalaid would not pay for some of services required for my treatment. Public hospital gave great treatment. Yes not 5 star space but treatment was same as in private hospital. Thank you mr president for signing that bill.

  3. … All legitimate recommendations and comments by medical practitioners were ignored.

The ANC will ignore the toy-toying people with the same disdain that Marie Antoinette displayed to starving bourgeois.
(No bread/no health care ??? “Let them eat cake”)

Perhaps what we must legislate is all elected members of parliament may ONLY be treated in government ‘hospitals’ … no private wards for the selfish inconsiderate KFC gluttons.
    🤬

  4. Doctors will leave, specialists will leave, higher taxes wil cause a loss of skills in all sectors, more chances for corruption, incompetence and blatant theft to flourish. More factories will close, unemployment will increase drastically, diseases will spread

  5. Why are there so many unhealthy people…and people in general? Weak people are dependant, take responsibility for your own health. They play on peoples ignorance. Wake up yall❤️

  6. Public health care is crumbling plus on top of it all 800 + fully qualified doctors are unemployed.

This is cadres' last opportunity to loot funds, we all know it will lead to that eventually.

    ANC 😂😂😂🤦🏿‍♂️

  7. Corruption and mismanagement killed public health facilities private companies will leave SA i don't know where we will run to and same ANC officials will go to Russia for health care

  8. The cancer are looking for new avenues to get money to enrich themselves and create director jobs for their family and friends… its got nothing, zero to do about health care for the people…

  9. NHI bill is a saviour for the poor people. The healthcare sector has been under state capture by the doctors protecting themselves and charging exorbitant fees. They behaved as the lords of the land. Let give the government to take care of his people instead of the individual doctors.

  10. Government, anc if they are serious about this this they must take out private hospitals.
UK is having the same system but they don't have private hospitals and it's working, but here anc want to introduce another cash cow for themselves and friends.
