  1. So the 2022 candidate will just be picked and will go through! Nonsense, nobody has got votes in his pockets or bungalow, it's the people that will vote and through a democratic proceed. Obama did well in the Us and he endorsed Hillary Clinton but people choose to vote the other way round so stop telling us a lot of nonsense!

  2. Kenya needs a good DICTATOR…Like the Chinese Premier…or a Paul Kagame! That will prevent these 4 year term thieves who come to loot the country and walk away laughing..EVERY FOUR YEARS ETC ETC

  3. Brothers in need are brothers in deed. It's obvious here that one brother is no longer in need of the other, and in deed, the evidence is the deed. After supporting him for solid two terms, It would be the worst backstabbing in politics.

But there are things to consider.

First, its not the place for Uhuru to name his successor, that's very yesterday and way below the expected statesmanship conduct.

Second, he would have betrayed his running mate, same as happened with his kinsman Emilio. What this will do is that it will solidify the tribal stereotype, and that may take a heavy toll on future political fortunes of those peoples.

Third and the worst, the history shows us that the politics of treachery and slander, more often than not, breeds chaos and violence. African democracies are volatile in their nature, bringing these to the fore will only be adding a catalyst.

Any leader who voices sentiments or takes actions that directly lead to destruction of life, consciously or otherwise, that leader has blood on his hands. And as so, he should be held liable.

  4. I respect my current president and I am ok with his work but to be honest he has only one vote so come 2022 he will cast his and kenyans will do their part as usual…with or without him a different person as per peoples choice will succeed him!!!

  5. I can never vote for ruto, he should not forget alichangia wakikuyu kuliwa 2007, same ruto alichochea wajaluo kuwawa…Yani I have never seen this man's projects, kila siku ni champaign Tu. Since I knew him lazma Tu akue Kwa rally, talking about power, mara this, that. Sasa after kuita watu wachawi in the name kutafutia Uhuru Kura, still Uhuru mwenyewe won't support you, it's all over his face…sai Uhuru ameshikana na "mchawi" anyway we need fresh leaders, tired of this same old folks.

  6. CORRECTION: Please know your facts when speaking on national TV…Hillary did not lose at the ballot…she won the popular vote. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote margin over Donald Trump with totals of 65,788,583 to 62,955,363 respectively, a margin of approximately 2.8 million votes (Trump won the presidency by securing 306 electoral college votes, 36 more than he needed to claim victory).

  7. Hon Martha Karua should be the next president so that she can continue fighting with corruption which has roots now. The roots need to be uprooted , and the person to do that its HER
