New Year's Day | Thousands flock to beaches across Cape Town
Thousands of beachgoers and holidaymakers flocked to beaches across Cape Town to celebrate New Year’s Day.
Families, friends and loved ones from across South Africa, as well as tourists, spent the day at the beaches and in municipal pools.
Law enforcement agencies were also out in full force to enforce compliance and ensure safety.
