What the hell is she talking about palliatives for??? It's completely useless as most people won't ever even see the shadow of palliative. I haven't and Noone I know has seen it. Also, what happens after the few months of palliatives? It useless. Just give us a permanent solution. Not some bullshxt that corrupt people will keep to themselves and is just for a few months. What next after it? We return to suffering and supposed to feel OK because we got 25k for 3 months? Rubbish

😂Nigeria's economy didn't cripple when politicians are paid that percentage, is it when the people who voted them in get paid in the same percentage that it will now cripple? 😮
That percentage labour is asking for is based on the same factors they, the politicians considered in paying themselves. Agree to the half a million and not trolly us on a journey of what is reasonable, no room for that again. When the government agrees, atleast we know you are cheating or owing them that much and not that little. Let's stop this talk about what is reasonable. Nigeria is rich considering how much they pay themselves.

@TikaTakeSummon

Salaries goes up, price of goods goes up. 😂😂😂😂Nigeria my country! Very soon you guys will be using bag of money to buy a piece of bread. I million Naira will equal $20.00 if minimum wage is half a million.😂Lol This is just Economic 100.

@chimajustin6008

There is no method to adopt… give them the.minimum wage

@SundayAshiedu

Nigeria media is a big mess and a big contributor to the problems in Nigeria today. Calling black white. Tufiakwa. JMO

@TeeO8080

Both the Labour Unions and the government is not serious with their demand and offer.
There is no way such an amount (N485k) will be our minimum wage; it's too high (no entity in Nigeria can afford that amount…… especially private entities)!
The offer of N60k is also ridiculous (what can anyone buy with that?)!

@nuridinadams9219

What stops the labour union from demanding 5 million naira as minimum wage for workers? The Ghanaian did it once and its economy fell flat which caused many deaths. Let the stupid Nigeria Labour union ask for unimaginable wages and let us see the outcome. It is a pity black people go to school yet they are an illiterate, uneducated bunch. Here in the diaspora, trade union demand reasonable wage increases and always strive to bring down the cost of living but in Nigeria and many African countries Labour unions are always a pain in the ass.

All the money you are reading Sis have already been shared among this our demonic leaders. Government has taken the poor for fools for too long. Most especially the Senate dat we believe they are there for us but never.

That is all stories my sis

No going back, d sufferness is too much. Senate are the real thieves and most corrupt leaders that we the people thinks they are fighting for us but honestly majority of them are their to share money, poor mass wealth to themselves and their families alone, wicked demonic heartless beings.

@stanleyelewa1010

Government should cut down the salaries of senators and federal house of assembly members , they are not adding anything meaningful to the growth of the economy of the nation other than taking huge amounts of money every month for nothing.

@enod9746

The speaker in white (Ajayi) should realize that labour did not just pick a random figure from their heads. They arrived at it with a template and are prepared to meet government at a reasonable distance if the govt is also prepared to up its offer and be very conscious of reducing the cost of spending. No labour union will see the kinds of money said to have been spent without accountability by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and conclude that government cannot pay. That is a fallacy.
