Reaching Netflix is even tough with your content

@thequarter2

We dont want them

@Erufuo

If the American giant wants to earn better profit, it should invest in the Nigerian entertainment industry, that's the cash cow for showmax.

@hillieduvalier

Not a good idea… say good by to african culture..

@lemonde-l3c

WE dont want Netflix in Africa for thé samedi reason that WE dont want Western army in Africa. we will créateur our own streaming plateforme and tel our own story and our own truth the way it have to be told , Périod.

@uwizeyemary3548

@justaskyogirl

How is africa young.. it's exploited great more globalist propaganda…

@ReeChad.

Yes netflix will beat showmax because showmax has failed to involve entire ountries in its platforms

@wandatrades4809

I hope they realise that Africa is more than just South Africa and Nigeria

@kasikwagoma6740

We don't want Americana whatsoever. This awful hegemonic beast, has an agenda. They want to come with lectures from their politicians. We have our own way of life, way of thinking, very socially conservative, so no lectures on morals we have our own morality. The west just wants to use us. After sidelining Africa forever they are only coming here because China beat them to it by investing heavily in our infrastructure. It is only because China is here…. To hell with Netflix and it's hegemony…. I pray that Nigerians refuse to hand over everything to them,because their film industry is huge and appeals to the majority of africans

@Sipapate

Netflix is getting it now, watch how big their subscriber base is about to grow

@18records18

😂😂 hu lied 2 em can't find wht 2 eat so i pay 4 Netflix these dudes are dumb

@felix-do4yj

@eyobtesfay

They have no moral to invest in
Africa. Stay there idiots.

@ThamiNdala

Sorry but Africa is the biggest continent in the world, they lied to us for a very long time

@Ndhavuko_nyiko

Showmax will lose trust me

@debuniinnocent4491

I stopped my subscription to Netflix because their content was promoting degeneracy with a lot of Homosexuality being promoted

@bonginkosihoko2839

Dave Chappell made 82 million on Netflix plus 20 million on Netflix. 1 actor got 100 million dollar on Netflix. And whole continent gets 175 nation 63 million what a joke

@bonginkosihoko2839

Imagine afrika is given 175 million 😳 🤣 😐 😂. South afrika 63 million. Netflix pays 250 million to one company or person in usa 🇺🇸 🤔. Wow Netflix will win.

@bonginkosihoko2839

So sad we just consume American ideas to show our image . But we create nor invent nothing of ours

@TomW-ks3gp

Why does Netflix invest in India? Because those people steal the network flux.

@mcotton3077

About to sign up for ShowMax!!

@JayFocused

Netflix will push an agenda. Africa should say 'NO'!

@jbimul6966

So they can best corrupt the morals right ? Stay out ! Keep them out Africa.

@javionriley8739

Netflix lost ground in USA 😂😂, now it’s relying on 3rd world talent 😂! I don’t know who’s watching because we in USA ain’t watching no Netflix

@citizenm9590

African is a rich resources not only minerals but also humms capital.

@stevenwilliams3015

For the Africans that are being protective of showmax, thinking it's their own. Kindly go and trace the largest stakeholders of showmax. the Europeans companies still own the largest shares. We own almost nothing. They only put a black person as the CEO of the company to mislead you, and you guys fall for it

@my0.02cents

You skipped the part where Africas film industry is bigger than hollywood. Nigerias nollywood produces more films than hollywood its second onky to bollywood

@thato596

competition is good it makes companies to take people serious brcause if it does not then we leave the company

@rootz2go

Lmaoo they are fighting for our souls

Soon, little African nations will take over India.

@rickmarshall5419

@therndabt

Africa needs to protect the African market for homegrown African companies.

@jmkamau6263

Anything related to media it is not in Africa for business yahiya to confuse people with their immorality😅

@kennymusicpage6691

We are the Future 👑

@lastking235

Showmax will win.

@shupikaigwabuya1767

Showmax is overloaded with South African and Nigerian content only like other countries dont exist and showmax doesnt invest in shows that are not in Nideria and Sa only …

@enockmartey9520

They start to bring lgqt+ with Netflix

@Blackstarworld254

We don't want sexual morals

@ruthgara574

The west should leave Africa alone, when they see that we are doing well in something, they will want to sabotage it, we don't want ur gay agendas in our movies, Africa loves Showmax, it resonates with our culture and we are good 🤦🏽‍♂️🤷.

@KingstonKing1

Africa 🌍

@yellowmellow7748

The difference is Showmax has really good African movies/series originals and captures our cultures perfectly whereas Netlix has African actors acting in something so out of touch with how things are on the ground it can actually get comical

Let Netflix take over, showmax is not uploading episodes on time and purposely buffering certain parts in episodes.

@garangachol8307

Business, class, and lifestyle—we are Showmax, and nothing can change it.

@commentthin

Of course, especially Nigerian….they won't regret it.
