  1. Netanyahu is a traitor… Sinwar's business partner, cut coupons with him from the cash transfers. He knew and planned the massacre together with Hamas only to fortify his corrupt government and to escape prosecution for countless criminal investigations.

  2. This news reader really needs a medal! The effort to accurately pronounce foreign names goes beyond what I've seen in most news sources (and it's not even close for any other TLDR content). More of this please!

  3. I will say that only democracies will be constrained by international law. It would be very easy for Russia and China to weaponize such institutions against the West. Something to consider.

  4. At least China amd Russia don't act like they care about a rule-based order system. The US wants to have its cake and eat it too 😂

  5. Tbh the ICC is inept and useless, always has been since enforcement is voluntary, now they're acting as a puppet for terrorists and despotic regimes under the guise of justice, at this rate they should just sanction them into the ground for being a superfluous body.

  6. Good on the ICC. All 5 on the list are ***holes! Between this and the arrest warrant for Putin I'm actually developing a respect for the ICC. Shame that my PM's statement on the matter was so spineless, but that's par for the course for him.

  7. All Biden had to do to not further damage his chances ahead of the election was keep his damn mouth shut. Was it too much to ask for him to not support a genocide for once?

  8. Well at least they issued one for Hamas too, but, honestly, if they can’t arrest Putin, which btw, they issued arrests for him like a year ago and he’s still free

  9. Two pivotal developments about Israel Palestine conflicts happened one after another in recent days. Both are heavy blow against the standing of Israel and its sponsor the United States:
1, The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrant against Binyamin Netanyahu, the PM of Israel.
2, Starting from Norway, more and more countries are recognising the state of Palestine, against the express intention of Israel and the United States.

  10. USA further widening the divide between it and every other middle east country. This is why Iran doesn't need a flag for people to rally around or PR when US and israel do things like this.

  11. America sanctioning the ICC would ironically give the ICC more credibility. It will show that the ICC is not a puppet organisation of America and that the ICC doesn't bend to anyone. No man, no country is above the law.

  12. So many idiots in this comment section. The ICC is an organization, not the 'law' as some people believe. It only functions when countries are in cooperation with it. It doesn’t have an army or any authority of it's own. Russia, the US, China, Israel etc. Are not a part of it. Why would they give that power away anyway.
Any country that is a member of the ICC arrests any (non member) leader will by that action have declared war.

  13. Really dont care what Hamas has done. When u push a populatiom to a point of course theyre gonna elect a more radical gov to def them and thats what hamas seems to been trying to desperately do.

  14. No, it's not one of the biggest triales since 1945 in Germany, there were multiple cases against terror groups (incl l. RAF and multiple right extremist conspiracys, as well as the Ausschwitz-trails).

  15. Not Americans feel the same way as our idiots in government.

That said, this 'outrage' against the ICC is all about foreign policy.
…And foreign policy is all about power and how to maintain it, everyone else be damned.
…Can't have a pesky thing like 'laws' (scoff) get in the way of Uncle Sam's national interests.
