Sounds like Eku read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho ✊🏾
Interesting conversation, loved the points they raised, summarizing every point Eku raised made it look like the others didn’t raise good points as well. Loved the fact that they took it to the streets🙌🏾
Kemi came thru with the nail polish play 😉
I really enjoyed watching this, so much to learn👏
Eku Edewor made a whole lot of sense. She was on point, articulate and real. I'm now her fan.
Too many gatekeepers on this show… yuck.
Eku was on point and even the things she said that I didn't agree with, she put in such an intelligent way
eku edewor for president
Who's this Eku lady?
I'm Just seeing her for the first time.
This should have been more real compared to the guys session, they were so real and even made jokes and actually set down facts about Nigerian girls and their wigs and all, how to deal with emotional maturity etc. I feel like all the ladies were all checking each other out, who speaks better English and has better enunciation and all. I didn't really feel the Nigerian aspect of this and how Nigerian guys and ladies actually behave and size each other out. To be sincere, in a real Nigeria setting with 5 girls in a closed room talking about their boyfriends and all, would it actually be like this. they would joke around and act it out (you guys know what I'm talking about right) and another thing is that they mostly spoke about how the woman is more successful than the man, what if that's not the situation and the girl is just a normal girl. I was expecting them to talk about real Nigerian things like how the guy wants his lady to be all porsched up, or how they rate a woman physically instead of intellectually or on her character, how most guys have stereotyped some Nigerian ladies to be materialistic and some other real Nigerian girl/guy discussions. Yes, their points were nice but I think they could have put aside that who's more successful than who and who's dressed better attitude and done better. I enjoyed watching the guys episode more than this.
Eku is the only one that made sense here please. Traditional and simple. No long story.
I feel that as women our goals change as we grow. What we want from life changes with time and also from our experiences. So we cannot define what women want, I think its specific to each woman for we define our lives the way we want. BTW I really like Eku the way she communicated her ideas.
I really really miss this show!! when is it coming back?
okay why is an inadequate man referred to as a "girl man"??..WTF!!!
16:37 What a babe!
I really enjoyed this episode. .respect to the guest:really appreciate their contribution::: hmmm the Eku girl I tuwale for u::all that ur portfolio no be waist:u get brain and mouth..ride on…🙌🙌🙌🙌
I want to marry that Eku girl. Damn she's smart. Guess she read "The alchemist"
Omg Osas💁🏿It's unfortunate about the internalized sexism and sexism though.
Osas is BAE😍😍😍
Yo they need chimamanda on one these, and it should be titled :the role of men and women in the home…..that should be interesting!!!
Don't listen to women on this issue. They don'y have a clue. They use their brains to think of things they want in a man but when it comes to reality they do all their thinking with emotions and feels and not with their brains. Instead, talk to a man who gets a lot of pussy as he knows exactly what women want.
That girl in read, was the only one that made solid points……shakena!
Experiencing sadness makes happiness feel way better.
She is as wise, I meant to say.
Eku Edewor just won my heart and "fanhood" with her comments. It's so good to know that she is as smart as she is beautiful. From the word on the street section, it is obvious that most men are CLUELESS.
Eku Edewor for Presdient!!!!
I expected more from this panel, I can't lie
Eku Edewor is intelligent
I miss this show is it ever coming back?
whats up with realtalk and Sgit no new episodes? ndani tv Pls reply
This ge Eku sharp o
Next episode ?
if eku (in red dress) is doing what she is preaching, that i swear that is a perfect woman to marry to spend forever with….my days #beauty and #brains
This is the first of the #ndanirealtalk episodes I will be watching and I am so glad. Eku was fabulous in her articulation and from what these women are saying, a super-rich guy isn't really what a successful woman wants.
Again, I don't know if anyone noticed that in the vox-pops, men and women have opposing views. Men believe women don't work and women believe that they work really hard, even harder than men in some cases.
That's some destructive role of popular opinion there. Thumbs up Cornelia and Jadesola Osiberu
The lady speaking Yoruba in the marketplace had me excited! Brilliant lady.
omg! eku!!! give them!! lool her answer is the best answer i have heard for all this feminism nonsense, everybody has their role simple, time for cooking you cook, time for fixing light, car and arranging men to build house you leave to the man, simple!!!!
I just couldn't get pass that thing on Osas' head…wtf
they all repeating the same ish…the only new perspective or different take on things was Eku's she should speak more, she just might have some insightful that might be of help to the new breed of 9ja women
If I'm asked to choose out of these my ideal woman based on their comments, then it's Eku.
There is a big issue with gender roles because it assumes that every individual that identifies with a particular gender is supposed to be measured according to societal roles ascribed to that gender. The issue is not about realising your comparative advantage in a team (read: relationship) and employing it in order to maximize utility and productivity. The real issue is internalized patriacrchy, this sort of discrimination is so ingrained into the mindset of those it oppresses that a good proportion (about 60%) of this segment that was supposed to be focused on WHAT WOMEN WANT was spent trying to trivialize all sorts of women by fellow women; the ones that "WHORE" around, the ones that do not love to cook and the ones that prefer to have a househusband. Meanwhile, the previous segment on what men want was spent devaluing women for all its entirety. Clearly, gender roles are most often been imposed on women rather than men, and this is problematic. Women around the world are often been demeaned and condemned because they do not meet the competency requirements for a skill deemed to define womanhood. In reality, individuals are fluid beings and there is no quality, skill or feature that makes a self-identifying woman anything less than what she identifies as.
Ndani. You selected an awesome set of ladies here. I sat through the entire length of real talk for the first time. The ladies are very intellectual and real. Eku, hey gurl hey! You went in on this!
Kudos to every lady featured. I'm so impressed
Eku please stop talking,do you know what depression is at all?
love you guys soo much but i'm nt even sure of how i feel about this episode. shoutout to Eku and Cornelia.. u had reasonable comments. now that protocols have been duly observed and its clear this is no hate msg lemme start ^_^
now if u put this episode side by side with the 'what do men want episode' the difference is clear! men are simple and they say stuff as is and women are deep and they like to use every opportunity to shine more than the next person even when its not a competition. i never heard lynx or tee-a or IK try to over calculate or over show themselves they were just plain real. so I have mixed feelings about this episode. i feel women are deep and also like to overdo which is a + and – altogether and taking from +Adetola Fashoyin 's comment you will agree. After watching the men's episode i had a fair idea of what men want on certain topics; maybe not deep issues but at least something but for this episode i got bored halfway and i'm sure guys would too and not take anything away after23mins. best part was taking it to the streets tho 🙂
Eku.. respect.. kemi.. you get mouth
Eku just won my love/heart….you are just beautiful but you are sensible and you made more sense out of all the others
Eku did it for me….. She touched every angle.
