It was the occasion to get revenge and money from the SM but my instinct tells me he had just put himself in a very bad situation with bad people…
This dude is the definition of shyness and awkwardness, he was just at the wrong place, wrong moment with very wrong people…

Haechan was so close with Taeil. Before I knew about his scandals they were one of my favourite duo by far. Haechan used to adore EVERY footstep of Taeil. They even got a show Sun and Moon for a while and used to do alot together. I think the main reason why NCT members including Haechan didnt defend him is that they mustve know how the timeframe of the crime fit and his way of acting at that time. Like maybe his behaviour when he got home or when he was missing for a while. Either way the way NCT showed their negative feelings towards him once it came out has me thinking Taeil even mightve said he had something to do with it or some type of evidence or whatever that they took this enemy stance towards him. Cause how you gonna hurt the team and the world like that and be that selfish to hurt a woman knowing it would ruin NCT image as a whole even. I think Taeil is really a mysterious person. He really seem like the type who would get swayed by anything. I dont know him personally but one of my bias is Haechan and the way he changed after that. Looking all depressed, sad, frustrated, tired and mad is the same way he looked when he got an injury or when he got sick really bad and couldnt perform for a while. I feel so bad for the members. But I know they can overcome this and have probably talked with each other as comfort like a thousand times already. To even get this far to get mixed in such a situation tells me kinda enough about Taeil because its not just a minor thing. You mustve been in that situation and not done anything to stop it from happening atleast for you to get accused.
to clearly because lucas appeared there. he was innocent, he was not arrested by the police, the person who claimed to be lucas victim never appeared. the rumor of lucas doing SA appeared because he had taken a photo of the sasaeng following them and uploaded it on the bubble. not long after that, someone appeared and said that lucas did SA without any evidence and a report to the police. until now the first weibo account that spread the rumor even turned into a selling account. the plausible reason to support that lucas is not guilty is the evidence of several times that nct member like jaehyun, johnny, winwin and others met and even watched concerts with lucas. besides that, hendery's sister still follows him on instagram and also notifications on ten's phone that he chatted with lucas. if my friend is really a SA offender, i will not be willing to be friends with him, but the fact is that there are still many members who support him
No like it is most off the time the fans who does stuff like this like i think his name is josh he is the guy who threatened wonyeong to kill her if she dates someone els ,well any way my point is like who would have thought that taeil who is a idol would do this ,this is concerning like who do you trust in this society??
It's not that "idols aren't what they seem to be," it's that people actually aren't what they seem to be. Most cases of abuse are committed by close family members.
Criticizing other members for having affection towards Taeil is unfair because everyone doesn't know who might be an abuser in their family.
Iโm not surprised that the members are heartbroken or shocked sm artists are trinees since a young age so they all really know each other and grow up togetherโฆ they were close like family and im sure the members themselves didnโt think heโll ever do something like this

I think the downfall of Taeil will cause the ultimate death of the trust of male idols. Now, everyone can't really trust any idols, including the ones that appear bubbly and bright. This case is a clear representation that you can't trust 100% or develop unhealthy parasocial relationships with anyone in the entertainment industry because we don't know much about them as people off camera. I am 100% sure that the members must have been betrayed and disheartened after this appalling turn of events because they had been relying and trusting on him for *years*.
I don't understand. Taeil may have been harassing the girl since she was 12. It's hard to understand how a teenager could hide this from her family or close friends. If they were unaware, how could they not notice? And if they did know, why it took years to reveal? For me. I would have choose to post my video and confront him rather. To think that she let Taeil to do that to her for so many years.
when i first met nct i was still a child but tbh i never liked him, always felt a negative vibe coming from him and always thought to myself "why does everybody like him?? he's strange and he doesen't seem to fit in" always told that to my older sister who is a VERY big fan of nct like me, so when that scandal happened i wasn't so shocked that it was a SA case but i never expected that taeil was the one in that scandal

There's something I've always noticed about the Korean entertainment industry: the companies tend to psychoanalyze their members a lot and don't promote people with suspicious tendencies and behavior. For a singer with a voice like Taeil's, I always wondered why he wasn't promoted like the others, so I thought that he must be difficult to work with.

I think the members of Kpop groups are forced by their companies to conform to unrealistic images. They are young men and women who must act like they don't notice throngs of worshippers or seem unaware of their own sex appeal. Their followers fantasize about being with them. Their companies exploit that. Once the illusion of being available is destroyed, the money stops rolling in, and the disgraced idols are ostracized. I'm not saying sexual assault is excusable. I'm saying their companies are partly at fault.
Guys this is just a daily reminder that you really shouldnโt trust everyone I mean come on you guys these people are complete strangers that we like listening to it doesnโt matter if you think you know them because they donโt know you
