Thwt igbos does not protest in the esat does not mean they support how the govt run the affairs of the country, but due to previous experience, which has thought them hard lesson. They are also suffering the hardship in the country. Tinubu and APC has failed, not from today, they've long time ago.

Protest is a massage of discontent and dissatisfaction and most important protest has no formula, Protest may take any fasion the protester deem necessary to convey the massage, the onus is on the security wings of the government to protect the people but the best is for government to be proactive and engage the people beforehand otherwise the government should be held accountable should lives of people be lost,
This negligence and ignoring of the cries of the people wont help matters,

Is government to be blamed:
1) If the headers decides to kill innocent farmers and feed their cow with the farm products.
2) If we refuse to biuld schools but turn our children to street beggars.
3) when we practice religion that pictures education as abomination ( Boko haram)
4) when we have the tradition of giving birth to uncountable numbers of children that we can't fend for.
5) finally when we have regional,religious & political leadership that thrive through impovirishing their followers asto remain on top

I support the actions of the governor of Kano. After all, he doesn't have power over the police, etc.
During the height of the Sanusi vs Bayero imbroglio, FG unilaterally sent officers to Kano without the consent of the governor. So why blame him now?

I have a dog, if it is not hungry, it remain very very calm but if I forget to give it food, at sighting me, it breaks itself loose from the chain and go wild at me. Not to talk of human beings. Abraham Maslow in identifying human needs, put hunger first. When the stomach is full, who care who is in power,. The government should immediately roll out policies to curb hunger, short-term measure see to how fuel price plus transport cost come down. Attempting to bottle things up will only increase the pressure. An hungry man is angry man.

Nigeria politicians lack education. They have colonial mindset, they are western puppets. And the people ? many are so ignorent about the fact, brainwashed to be foolish not to know who is the enemy of progress.

Why are Nigeria politicians evil?

@aojhone5915

The state is a contract. The leaders have responsibility and as the IGP said so do the people. But Mr.IGP….Do you understand that by removing fuel subsidy, increasing interest rate and making public education and food unaffordable the leaders abdicated their responsibilities and pretended as if all was well while people died. PROTEST is the result. It's when people say screw the contract, if you don't uphold your end of the deal, we won't uphold ours too. My advice to you is not to let the situation get out of control by using unnecessary force. Do you sincerely believe if 50 million people are on the streets you have enough boots on the ground to keep peace? Peace cannot be bought by violence. Instead of threatening people advise your ogas to do the right thing. Nigerians are tired of sponsoring politicians WAYWARD, WASTEFUL LIFESTYLE, AND IF YOU THINK THIS IS NOT CLEAR ENOUGH, LOOK AT OTHER AFRICAN COUNTRIES and you'll see that Nigerians are actually patriotic, peace loving people and that's why politicians get away with so much of the crap they do.
