The national electricity grid collapsed this morning after distribution companies announced its collapse on Monday.
According to statements on X, Electricity Distribution Companies nationwide announced that the national grid collapsed at 9:30am today.
The collapse was attributed to a System failure on the National grid.

This is ridiculous 😢so sad considering nigeria is supplying outsiders with consistent electricity but I thought the first rule is to take care of home first (charity starts at home)7 times this year there's been outages…. Come on to the people in charge to the people in high places how do you sleep at night…. my heart pains people could be doing much better with simple electricity for a better way of life kmt afterall this os 2024-2025….. 🙏🏿 may the creator help us all 🇯🇲🇺🇸
