Namibia Road Trip – 10 Days – Alone with a pop-up tent

10 day Namibia road trip itinerary, starting in South Africa – 5800km – alone.

Please note that I started in Johannesburg. It all depends on where you start and if you travel clockwise, anti-clockwise, zig-zag or whatever 😛

My route was as follows:

1. Johannesburg to Upington: 786km, 8h 20 min.
Kalahari Monate Lodge (SA) is your best bet…

Hi. Thank you so much for the share 😊 Planning a very similar trip, but going to Terrace bay and Etosha after swakopmund. Female travelling solo with no guide etc. Did you feel safe? Done lots of trips alone just worried about how vulnerable you are being seen solo and sleeping in a tent. Any insight would be amazing.
Happy travels

How was it so quiet? When I was there, it was really busy

@afcacbs8544

Best country in the world

@gwhite0992

Great video. Apple pie in Solitaire? The top of Big Daddy at sunrise I know this loneliness and excitement that you will never forget and cannot capture

@JohnArmwood

Your video would have been a lot better without your crude and vulgar language. Educated people really don’t want to hear that kind of talking. It is sad because you seem like a nice woman. You need a “dead cat” to block the wind while you are recording. Some of your video was impossible to hear due to the wind noise. These are inexpensive devices which are necessary to record in a windy environment.

@gwbaker

I like to imagine standing at the viewpoint during the time those canyons were formed witnessing the torrent of water carving through the earth…

@alwynvanwyk1851

Dropped the tyre pressure by 4 bar😮 or did I miss it by staring at you 😂😂

With what car did you travel

I worry about safety….

@josephnakale7343

Kudu probably got hit by a passing vehicle. We'll come my country, next time get time to visit northern regions as well.

@mightyhead4962

Looks awesome, I'm planning on going next year. What was your plan if the car broke down? That's my only worry at the moment as I'm about as far as you can get from a mechanic 🙃

@David-dr7de
