All I can say is, watch this if you’re from Africa so you don’t fall into a similar situation. God help us🙏🏽

  1. The simple thing that the Indians do is that they maintain their cultural values and morals even in foreign lands, unlike most Africans who throw away their morals when they relocate to the West and start misbehaving, with wives calling the cops on their husbands, and husbands too misbehaving big time.

  2. God bless you, Love your videos, please advise these your friends to take the children to Africa and let them have taste of village life and after that only the African dialect and channels they should watch…..I think this is what the Indians or asians do differently that make them get it right…….they eat, breath, live their culture so difficult for another foriegn culture to overtake

  3. Caribbean parents sometimes do two things sometimes take them back to their country during the summer holidays and share proper licks if they still misbehave tell the Kids they would carry them their to live or tell them if the parents are in jail they will go to foster care, but my mother never hit me a day in my life only took away the things I liked and I didn't give trouble but I agree with you it depends on the child. Sorry for the long comment.

  4. I contacted Herpes (hsv-2) in 2020, my doctor said there's no cure for Herpes. I saw someone post about Dr.Kendis ,So i decided to try ,and contacted him! He replied me, and told me that he will cure me within 2 weeks and 7days ,then i purchased the herbal medicine and he sent the herbal medicine to me through UPS, and I took it for 14 days after then I went for check-up and I was totally cured. The medicine has NO SIDE EFFECT.

  5. But the trauma caused by some of the methods used by African parents! Only God knows! The feelings of worthlessness (inferiority complex, low self esteem, etc), anger issues (coz most African parents "discipline" out of anger), etc, the depth of which is hard to determine. I'm 33 and I'm still recovering. Don't have a child as yet.

  6. Work on alternative parenting skills do not allow yourself to become angry and frustrated so you end up harming your child. Be honest to beat a child with a wire is abuse. Remove the child from in front of you do not play be clear on boundaries and expected behaviour. Lastly careful other communities may appear to have it all together but their rebellious young are hidden away and excused/ostracised within their own communities. Through this discourse focus on our community and moving away from some out dated practices and improving on parenting. Peace ❤️🖤❤️

  7. I really don't believe parents beating their child for deciplinary purposes is wrong. As Africans most of us were beaten and we know its not because our parents were trying to harm us (to be fair I only received moderate beatings, nothing that would cause a mark or scar).
Verbal abuse and passive aggressiveness are what really harmed me. Still dealing with it in therapy.

  8. I was raised in Africa but never experienced beating from my parents! Every time you beat a child, you take away something from that child!

That opens so many doors in that child’s life! Majority of people who end up on abusive relationships either experienced or saw abuse in their upbringing or homes!!!!

Dialogue with that child, explain to that child and check thru understand what you are trying to tell them!!!!

There are so many ways of raising children and discipline!!! Abuse in any form is not one of them!!!!

  9. The African way is the biblical and correct way. Proverbs 13:24; 22:15; 23:13-14, but should be done in love and not as a usual way of discipline. How have the Western children turned out? Very wayward and a social problem. Not everything Western is better (just look at their crumbling social structures).

  10. To me, i think if your parents are still in Africa, take the kids on a pretense holiday trip to Africa and leave them with your parents, bring them back whenever they're of age and well trained.

  11. This is a great topic sis, I worked as a TA and came across cases of that nature. I can tell you the kids here are very different. Being a new mom now, I am in the soup as you 😆. From my perspective, I think involving the children to set ground rules in the house and the consequent punishment that should be given will be ideal. With these they know they are part of the laws of the house and none of them is above it. They should also be made aware they have to know their limit and what's allowed. About disciplinary measures, writing apology letter, time out, taking away their favourite toy or item, no watching of their favourite children TV show for a month, doing the house chores they hate most for a month etc. may help.

  12. Thanks, one thing I noticed is, the Indians and the Pakistanis, they teach the children their languages. We don't teach ours our culture, all of them speaks the punjab. This is one of the factors, most of them never go wayward.

  13. It is illegal in Scotland to smack a child and quite rightly so. You can't hit an adult so why is it ok to beat a child. If your hitting your children Stop !!!

  14. So sorry this happened to your friends. Many white families have experienced this too and then everyone wonders why teenagers are so wild and uncontrollable because the parents are afraid to discipline them. Bottom line, a REALLY beaten child is fearful and quiet and certainly wouldnt admit to a stranger that they were being abused. Many social workers are too inexperienced and stupid to realise this.

  15. Thst country is full of shit…i lived there for 23 years and worked as a social worker. Africans must get out of that country ornyiu will all suffer…we would even coach kids to belive they are being abused. And married men i feel sorry for you…you either suck up and simp to your heavily Britishinised wife or you are toast. Pathetic

  16. And not only kids….. I told my husband one day that if Africa will move forward, we Africans need to review EVERYTHING from bedroom to outside.

Do not get me wrong, I love the warmth in African societies but not the stiffening attitudes.

    Hardly do we define limits.

The mentality that wives belongs to the kitchen, your bedroom and other rooms is another place is a disease and that mentality needs serious review.

I watched a Zambian traditional wedding the other day: wow! I was about to cry. The groom was sitting somewhere with his groomsmen.

And the bride???? She was being led by other women to COOK big pots of corn meal and All the house chores. That was not all. Food cooked, it was now time to present the food. Women crawling on their knees with food to the groom. Then they will open the food for groom to inspect(??). Then i saw women will fall down before the groom and his men and were rolling on the floor! Please, Zambians forgive me. This is what I saw.

Now, what do you think of the mental message given to both husband and wife from that ceremony? Woman , that is your place, on the floor. Man, that is your place, up there.

Elsewhere, what are wedding gifts for a woman? Pots, plates, a bundle of whips even….. name it. Why can't we give a bride the gift of a house, a computer, something that makes her of worth?

Let's talk about land ownership another day… The father will give land to all the boys and not to girls.

    A lot needs to change….

  17. Physical abused children is wrong especially if it's severe enough and cause bruises.
There are other ways to discipline a child by talking or not buying them toys .

There are some people in Jamaica who needs to be in prison for child abuse crimes.. I wished that safeguarding laws were in Jamaica when my children were abused by their so called father , family and his concubine……………

Anyway, I would prefer not to keep a child in my care……….
