  1. Oh my, this was such a heart felt recipe because of the love that's attached to it from your Ma(grandmother). Such a wonderful love letter to her. Bless her and bless you.

  2. I knew from the moment I started seeing your videos and listening to you speak that you were someone with a heart of gold. I have been following you on and off, and your cooking is way Up there. I've learned quite a lot. That beef stew sure looks intense. I'm gonna try it, though not so much heat…lol…I'll pass, can't handle spicy foods anymore although I love it, it doesn't love me 😂😂.. 😂. Thanks for sharing yours and your grandma's heart, it warmed my heart tremendously. ❤❤

  3. Amen! My great grandmother is 103 and still enjoys celebrating her birthday with family and friends! ❤ To many more years of healthy and joy coming from the One and Only Lord God! 🎉

  6. Brought tears to my eyes because I also was raised by my grandma because my mom was in the states. She taught me everything I know. And like your grandma, she was a prayer warrior. I'm literally in tears right now. she passed away 12 years ago and I think about her every day😪😢.

  7. You were lucky my grandmother couldn't cook to save her life she was a terrible cook thankfully she didn't ever cook for us and my mother didn't learn to cook from her she learned to cook from her sister

  8. My goodness the technique of cooking this beef stew creates so much flavor deep flavor it is truly amazing looking and I am sure it is absolutely superb tasting thank you Grandma for this beautiful dish 👍❤️

  9. This love letter/video dedicated to your grandma- when you talked about the generations of strong women who have come from her line …. I was done for 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️

  10. Onions is water food so I don’t add too much water when I am season my meats or fish’s or chicken. Sometimes I trying to avoid more water in it. Oh didn’t know the seeds in tomato can be bitter something to know thanks for that. Been emotionally how ur grandma tight u because that’s memory u love about her n shows u how much she’s really deeply love u n ur mom❤️🥰

  11. I love how vulnerable and honest you were with your feeling while talking about your Grandma. I didn’t grow up with any grandparents at all, so I hope you cherish the fact that you have those experiences with her, as well as the fact that she is still here to talk to. I love how appreciative your heart is for her. 💕 See that type of love makes it easier to know how to raise your children and them to their future children, etc. Job well done Grandma!!

  12. Thank you for sharing this recipe and I felt the love in your storytelling of your grandma. I especially love that everything left over from the recipe had a purpose like the tomato juice for soup and seeds to regrow in the garden and even the oil reserved for making jollof rice. So much love, wisdom and blessings coming through 💕 thank you!

  13. I made this last night and it was a hit! The sweetness was surprisingly delightful. The beef had the best texture and flavor. Thank you for helping me truly nourish my family 🥰
